if btc dumps anytime in within next 24/48hours, it will be a huge dump...40%-60% is possible...ETH will double up instantly....those that miss buying ETH now will buy dao as it will give back 10/1 ratio to ETH. Dao has become a second chance for those that dumped ETH and miss the train when it takes off.
I think Ethereum will have a hard time in dealng with its tarnished reputation. Something spectacular must be created and built using the platform. But the DAO was supposed to be that "something spectacular". If they attempt to start again, will the people believe and invest in it?

You are too confident. I am not so optimistic. I think the Ethereum price can only reach $30 to $50 after fork.

Off topic: This is unfortunately the trend with all ICO projects as of lately... get some tokens out for sale and promise that the whitepaper will be ready at a later point. Wings has not announced an ICO but some think it will come in August/September? Also, there is no white paper to read, just blog posts and ideas but no report yet.
Of course it's comparing apples and oranges. Ethereum exists while Wings is a concept at this point. Saying that Wings is better is based more on speculation than facts, and that is coming from someone who even has done some translations works for Wings.
Back on topic, Do we know if and when theDAO hardfork is to be realized? Any rumors about whether there will be a vote on the hard fork or will the foundation have to proceed regardless? I've been reading on the DAOhub blog but I didn't see any info on these matters?
