@ Mr Pumperitis

You assume too much. Your name tells where you are coming from - Mr Pumperitis, pumping the price without concern for those whom you might mislead. I was advising caution due to a highly respected article in CoinTelegraph. I believe I was being objective in invititing others to read it - in relation to other posts here. Are you intimidated by that?

I notice that this is a fresh page, so for the convenience of other investors, of which I am one, here is my original post:

CAUTION Advised

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but everyone should read this CoinTelegraph article:

http://cointelegraph.com/news/dao-episode-2-risks-ahead-or-can-the-experiment-fail

Lots of "considerable risks" including the fact that Ethereum will drop in price due to the DAO. $100s of millions of ETH have been invested in creating DAO tokens. These tokens will be used to fund projects. To fund projects the DAO tokens will be cashed into fiat $ via ETH. This flood of ETH sells will most likely make the ETH price plummet.

In summary the article concludes:
"It’s a steep mountain to climb with considerable risks and failure more likely than success."

Now exercise your power in banning me you self-interested jerk - although I now see that you have deleted your previous threatening post.

Dude i heard all this when i first got into BTC. When it was under $20 nobody cared. Then once it became worth something, the warnings come out...just like yours above.
Crypto is risky, be it BTC, ETH or THE DAO, your fiat will go up and down alot.
Most investors are aware of this before investing.
So thanks for heads up and gd luck with your own investment choices.

You imbecile. I was being objective in quoting an article that raised concerns. Don't just pick on part of my post to obscure it in a meaningless fog to hide the implications from most investors, of which I am one. Here it is in full:

in its Forbes paper, Laura Shin says:

-bitcoin is a public blockchain, it is the internet ;
-ethereum is a private blockchain, something like an intranet.

do you agree ?

another analogy maybe

bitcoin is decentralized

ethereum is centralized

is that right

She didn't say that Ethereum is a private blockchain, she's referring to the private blockchains developed by financial institutions as Intranet.

So the price broken through the last peak in March, do we think it can go further?

The dollar price has broken the previous record. But the bitcoin is not yet. It still needs to rise more than 10%.

So do you think that will happen?

Only the big whales can determine the bitcoin and Ethereum price. We willjust have to follow them.
...but in any case the success will depend on the unit price ( the more the better, of course ) ), and people find in their wallets a few, thoughts and deeds are going to do and find a use for them

just responding to the idea of a new decentralized site concurrent to airbnb in theDAO:

the idea was great and great was the success...

but presently i am fighting with the site, very difficult to communicate with potential clients,

airbnb now has so much restrictions and tax problems....that a new concurrent may have a great future also.

I think you're french, am I right ? you use the word "concurrent" (from french "concurrent" de "concurrence") when what you mean is "competitor".
Concurrent in english means "happening at the same time".
