Even after adding all the nodes I still get "admin.peers" = null

exp.blockNumber = 33

Balance = 264 (which is good if I was the only one  Smiley)

Anyone know the trick to mining from a computer to an EXP client running on another computer? I'm doing "ethminer -F http://192.168.1.x:9656 -G" and its giving me a "libcurl error 7: Could not connect to http://192..."

Make sure you use --rpc eg: gexp.exe --port "42786" --rpc --rpcaddr "192.168.1.x" --rpcport 9656 --rpccorsdomain "*" console

25 peers now on Ubuntu

Block 64xx

I had too much problem when I switched to Ubuntu from Windows to mine Ethereum with GTX750ti. Now, I feel very smooth with this coin.

You prolly was on wrong chain and mined alone.... check block number, also check numbers  peers and port forward

shift coin had ZERO problems!

Shift coin wallet does have issues !   if you have your server ( solo mining) connected directly to your modem you will loose coins !!   big time!  I had to move it behind another router and yes the shift team knows about it.

As for Expanse I only started mining it a couple hours ago etc, will check the tips above ( thanks guys), gets frustrating as power costs are killing me and when you loose your days mining .....

Feel you about the power costs. I live in California, one of the worst price per kwh in the US and most parts of Calfornia have tier pricing. If electricity was 10 cent or less, it wouldn't be too bad. Even a computer at idle waste about 100~250 watts, depending on setup.

Most of these cryptos are developed under Linux environment. Also, it's cheaper to use Linux and more of the time easier to debug. Windows is a whole different thing to debug with and takes more time, but can be made to work well if the programmer is skilled enough.

this team is taking a whole lot more premine than the other eth coins youd think they could deliver a working network but nope. shift and soil windows networks work great.

If people are having issues with the windows version you can always set up a Digitalocean VPS with Ubuntu 14.04 and run EXP on it and mine to it Wink

Or they could fix the fucking windows version. Fair launch for linux users shit for the rest.

Yeah fine

Have the same result, even with just 3~4 peers connected only..

@defaced

You should know ethereum have problem with missing transactions (TX don`t show on blockchain), you should check shift github and work together for solution (they have some just now updated)... will be better for both forks...

ethereum dev I don`t like, they do not communicate with ppl nor care
