Hi Wolf,

first off, thank you for not being an aggressive troll and request a useful feature in a proper way. That's not to be taken for granted here in this forum.

Second, I'm just about to implement what you suggested. I was also missing an 'unlock for minting' feature a while ago.

The 'unlock for minting' feature will be available in the next wallet release.

For those who build their wallet from source, I'll commit the changes shortly to https://github.com/FairCoinTeam/fair-coin.git (I'll post it on twitter then...)

How is minting working? I can't find function that unlocks wallet  Huh

Open the debug window from the Help menu. Switch to the Console tab and enter the following:

Code:
walletpassphrase "yourWalletPassword" 1000000 true

Replace the text "yourWalletPassword" with your actual wallet password  Wink

Your wallet will start minting for 1000000 seconds now. It might take a couple of minutes to update the status bar though.

Hey Thomas,

don't want to be rude but I really think it is not userfriendly to use console not having a staking option in wallet GUI.
Another aspect is having my wallet password typed in clear text is not an option to me. You might want to customize wallet
config and start re-programming or re-configuring some features. I mean, this is full PoS without a userfriendly option to stake coins.
No offense, but new development team might want to make things new and hopefully better  Wink

Thank you.

who gave you the suggestion to lock it.

Well, I prefer encrypted wallets for security issues, I hope you do too. It's not like you leave your money
on a table in a club giving everybody access to take it from you, do you?

Hi all,

some discussion is going on, if we should replace the images on the web site with big icons to make it look professional. An example might be this here (when you scroll down): http://www.worldcoinalliance.net/

What do you guys think?

@fresher and SomeRelax: do you think you could take that task.

Or maybe some other talented web designers are following this thread and want to help out? Please don't hesitate to reply or PM me if you are interested. We could talk about reward then...

BTW: I'm about to add some real-time data to our web site: e.g. The current difficulty, total money supply of FairCoin, number of connected nodes, block height,...

Also I want to take the opportunity to thank SomeRelay again for the IMHO outstanding, great logo he crafted! I see it all the time and the more I see it the more i like it  Smiley
