Is that service abondened? I see there several old links (old thread, price udpates via coinedup). If this is still under development, I can give some suggestion how to improve your service so that it gets more probable to get used by more merchants.

I don't know who runs it, but they are active. They will be helping with my site soon to sell goods for fedoracoins. I got in contact with them through this email address. [email protected] They responded very quickly. They are working on http://worldof.tips/ right now.
Yep not abandoned at all and very true response times are fantastic and they are great to work with. They have been a huge help getting it going, where the documentation lacks they make up for with their service
Also http://worldof.tips is very close to live as well using the system just as a heads up. Big issues worked out, now time for a bit of cleanup and to fill the product page.

The Video Maker should make educational videos about Fedoracoin. The topics should be Mining, Exchanges, Purchasing goods with Fedoracoin, and the diff things Fedoracoin has to offer. I need to write it up on the page still.
I am also still taking ideas on what else should be made. We also need to get an official youtube channel to post them to.

one currency only has value if it can have a utility in commerce (buying and selling of goods and services). while do not have a commerce value of the tips will be greatly influenced by the action of investors
This is being worked on right now. One example is http://worldof.tips/ and another is http://myne.tips/. We are just getting the payment processor setup. Hercules1600 site http://worldof.tips/ should be up very soon and http://myne.tips/ soon after that. People are active and trying to get some commerce and some development around Fedoracoin.
If you have any ideas or experience please let us know and try to volunteer time. We have ideas, but we just need help getting them developed and and out to market.

OMG please don't waste ressources for such ideas!
Lets just sit here and moan about new ideas instead, because that's productive.
It is just absolutely irrevelant whether you can buy TIPS as a single unit or in packages of 1000. I see no point in it. Especially as every exchange can handle this in a different manner. So this isn't something that can be controlled by the dev team or the community.
What's really needed are more applications and a wider acceptance of TIPS. Not any artistical stunt to try to pump the value artificially. TIPS has enough substance to grow big without such tricks.
