Anyone know how long it usually takes them to confirm deposits?
It's advised to NOT confirm transfers under 10 confirmations, and considering the FIMK network is new it may be wise / understandable to wait a bit longer anyway.

I was talking about deposits to Dgex (they have manual confirmations).
But I got them now Smiley

Up to 24h. But I guess depositing Fimk will be faster today because they just launched it so the admins are online to confirm deposits anyway.

dgex trading starts any minute...

Dgex looks horrible.
And this "Thank you for deposit! Your deposit will be confirmed manually and funds released for trading ASAP." is even more horrible.
I hope they confirm it soon, but I guess I have to wait manually confirm for withdraw too. So slow  Cry
We need to get FIM to Cryptsy or something.

I asked one exchange to add FIMK, and their response was:

Browser wallet only... Can't integrate at the moment.

If trading volume is decent in dgex, many exchanges will add FIMK

Interesting statement from Graviton, owner of DGex:

..
DGEX will issue FIMK tokens in the NXT AE and will act as the gateway for their redemption to / from NXT.

I'm hoping to see FIMK - BTC trading soon as possible or even trading FIMK - EUR.

Nxt ae would be good start but i don't see newcomers easily adopt any coin via that way. And coin with such a low volume, that move would probably pump the price of NXT for a couple of days just like what happened with NEMtokens.

You can log out but still have the core code continue forging, running only in memory basically.
So you don't need to keep your browser open to forge blocks.
If I'm using wallet on your website, how big uptime can I expect after I log out without stopping forging?
Any scheduled log-offs or reboots?

The FIM application restarts pretty often for various reasons. Uptime will vary greatly.

thanks, the problem was FIM doesnt seem to work via proxy

Is this an issue with FIM? Does NXT do work with that same proxy?

Any Windows user having success?  I can't get it to work.  When I run the .bat, now I see the script launching, and then for a moment, the last line says "User interface not enabled" and then the CMD window closes.

What does the rest of the cmd window say?

I´m running a PasPi as my nxt peer. Is it possible to run nxt and Fim on one Machine?

They run on different ports so that should work. Not sure if the device you mention can handle it.

I made a block but disappeared after a few minutes.
The block is still listed as wrought by me, but no longer appears in my list.
Can a forged block appear and disappear as a few minutes?

You can forge a block which your client lists as forged by you, but since you're on a network with other peers your client can receive a block forged by another that has a higher difficulty. Your block will be removed then and replaced with the better block. Not sure if removed blocks are also correctly removed from the html/js client (frontend code) it could be thats why it's not removed from all places you see the block. Reloading your browser should normally fix such things.

need a intruduction how to use it on a mac!

These instructions for NXT seem to apply for FIM to http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/How-To:InstallNRSMacOS
After FIM is started navigate to http://127.0.0.1:7886 (instead of 7876 which is the NXT port)

Log Out vs Log Out and Stop Forging.
can someone explain the difference, and when you would use one option over another?

When you enter your passphrase in the startscreen and check the "Remember my password" checkbox the wallet is basically unlocked and can be used by anyone who has access to your computer. Logging out forces the client to forget the passphrase. You can log out but still have the core code continue forging, running only in memory basically.

So you don't need to keep your browser open to forge blocks.

Anyone know the total % of FIMK forging?

That's unknown. Only if you run a hallmark others can see what balance you are forging with but since not everyone has a hallmark you can never know. The current base target does give an indication what amount was forging when that last block was made.

I transferred my fim from Dgex and have about 720 confirmations. This is after 12 hours, so this is 1 confirmation a minute instead of every 30 seconds. I'm using the wallet.

The block time is an approximation and will vary. On the test net where we have run FIM for over a month while doing more than 2 million transactions the average block time was between 32 and 54 seconds, this varied per day.

..and more questions:
1. May I forge simultaneously with FIMK and NXT wallet from same computer?
2. May I forge with two different FIMK accounts with two different computers from same ip-address? Doable?

1. Yes you can forge simultaneously with NXT and FIM. The java process is relatively light weight and since they run on different ports there is no conflict
2. Yes you can forge from the same ip address or on all separate ips it doesn't matter, there will eventually only be one block that wins.

Is a working block explorer available? The block explorer mentioned in the starting post doesn't seem to work?

We are working on that. The one in the opening post was the blockexplorer to our old automated test environment.

The "block reward" when you forge doesn't show up in the transactions list?
But if they show up in Blocks / Forged by You then you have gotten the 200 coins, right?
And if the block orphans, it will be removed from the Forged by You list?

Look on the dashboard in the "Forged Balance" block, it shows the total amount of FIM you have earned forging.
