Thanks. I have tried this method. Looks like the cgminer (built into Antminer) accepts only stratum. It shows pool status as "dead" .

Are you using this method?

you can do this way :

francs-qt should be sync on network
you have to edit francs.conf file  in ../appdata/roaming/francs
with

rpcuser=(yourname)
rpcpassword=(yourpswd)
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=9339
port=9338
gen=0
server=1
addnode=185.14.184.239:88
addnode=89.38.149.94:3050 (can be updated with actual nodes)

on bitmain 's interface :

http://xxx.aaa.bbb.ccc:9339 where xabc is your ip address of computer running Francs.qt
(yourname)
(yourpswd)

backup pool should be an actual running pool with Francs, it will help to get block update

you will not have shares, only block found if you solo mine

enjoy Wink

Here is a new article that just came out. Russia just accepted their own government backed cryptocurrency. Now if you could only convince the French president to back Francs, he already supports cryptocurrencies, from what I read some people say. If he will speak about it and support it, this thing is going to the billions potentially very soon.

Just saw the video and I am sold. I like the concept of getting the Crypto via existing medium and that there is no minimum and maximum transaction limit. I think the decentralized market is gonna lead towards financial freedom and soon people will forget what bank is all about. Thank you for keeping us posted with the progress and I yes I agree it isn't easy however it's not impossible as well.

Keep up the food work. Awaiting further updates.

Have a wonderful day.

Hey guys,

FRN is still being developed, at this moment we have our dev called Zeiger which is working on both Segwit and Android beta version of LTC's loafwallet.
On my side I am supposed to review the iOS app, submit to the store and start the promo campaign asap. I was too busy during the summer and had to focus on other priorities.

As you know FRN wasn't launched via ICO, it is completely self funded.
All the money we got from the community was ~200€ (thanks proletariat). Which is actually just the price of the stamps for sending the ~180 starter packs.

Things are going better right now but still can't reasonably focus all my time on FRN. If I were a Bitcoin millionaire I would surely make huge investments in FRN and make this thing take off. Unfortunately I'm not (not now Wink)

Help from the community would be greatly appreciated to speed things up and move forward. If anybody have some experience with ios app development, please PM me. No big deal, the testings have been done and it is essentially about refining the design. Everything have to be perfect.

If not, things will come step by step.
Sorry to make you waiting. It's not super comfortable to make updates when there's no real updates as it will disappoint everybody.

Anyway you can be confident, the project will not be left away. We have already put too much work in this to let it go just like this.

Thank you for your support.

Looking forward to much more good news! The website is very nice. It is important to keep the ball rolling though, as the cryptocurrency market is in a good position right now. Can we get an update on the wallet development? How far do you think the developer(s) is(are) on this?

Don't wanna sound rude but you made 5% Premine
France PIB was 2,465,000,000,000,000 USD in 2016
Francs is focused in the French economy so if this is sucesful project you can expect atleast to get 10% of the economy in your mcap.
That's              $246,500,000,000,000
Bitcoin now is           $69,778,911,344
Francs now is                       $195,311
I think is worthit to make this a sucesful project  Smiley

France PIB is 2.465 Trillion, that's 2,465,000,000,000$

You have passionately/erroneously put 3 more zeroes. However, 10% of the French economy translates into a marketcap size of 246.5 Billion, which is 246,500,000,000$. If we can achieve this target, one FRN would be valued roughly at 22,400$, would be really hard to achieve, if not impossible. I am outrageously optimistic about FRN, though.

You're right. My bad. I made a very pessime math  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

That's what I thought. I was wondering how you were in the quadrillions.

Hey, that is still good, if we could get 1/10th of the French economy on the Francs blockchain, then this thing would go up 1,262,090 times or so. So per every dollar invested today, it you would get 1.2 million dollars back. Which is crazy, and probably unlikely to occur. It is possible, perhaps, if the coin really takes off, that 1% of the French economy will be on the Francs blockchain, if the coin pushes strong and makes innovations, which is 126,209 times still. So per every dollar, you could potentially get 126k in return (If the team pushes strong and the coin is largely accepted in France). Now, Francs is also not just solely secluded to the French people to invest into the coin, but the blockchain is open for anyone around the world to invest. So potentially, people from the USA, Germany, Japan, and other countries can also invest, if Francs are going strong. So it could very well be even more than 126,209 times in return (Which is 1% of France's economic market capital). France is the 7th largest economy in the world, and if the other economies would also contribute to this project, then it could do very well.

The team has a great website, they have some updates coming up, and also, the advertising campaign will be launched once the wallets are completed.... which is taking quite a while, but I guess these things do not just get developed over a few days. The market capital for this coin is extremely small right now, and the more that cryptocurrencies gain traction, the more that Francs will also continue to climb. Likewise, if the team continues to innovate and push strong with advertising Francs, then the market capital has major potential in climbing much higher than it is now. I feel this coin is way undervalued, most likely because not much has happened with it lately, and because people do not quite know about it yet. Please take everything I say though, with a grain of salt, I would hate to mislead someone in their investment decisions.

FRN premine is shared between Frantz (3%) Zeiger (1%) and Law (1%). The premine is a reward for their
personal investment. In case of sufficient price growth part of the money earned will be used to push further
commercial developments. For example, owning our own professional video equipment would be very helpful.
