Galactrum is now ready for cross-chain dapps with the Blocknet Protocol!

Now that ORE is compatible with the Blocknet Protocol, it can be used in cross-blockchain dapps and traded on beta Block DX!

You can read more about Blocknet, the Blocknet Protocol, and Block DX here:

https://blocknet.co

https://sites.google.com/view/blocknet/directory

To get started with trading on Block DX, follow this setup guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ciwLFSXwv6CXd3QEvVW88lHXo9CSIlweYOoSbDHkies/preview

The setup is in the process of being automated/abstracted so it's much easier and streamlined to use for beginners. In addition to that, in July we are planning to release SPV support which will allow for the creation of litewallets so whole blockchains will not need to be downloaded

Getting listed on one of the up and coming decentralized exchanges is a good move for Galactrum. CryptoBridge has been a fairly popular option so far in 2018 and I think Block DX has a chance to do the same thing going forward.

I like the great atmosphere that the Galactrum team has put together. This is the kind of community that comes together to share ideas and help each other to drive success to the project.

Oh, and I like mining ORE too!  Cheesy

Mining this coin is super profit (in future). I remember when mining my rig Ethereum in end of 2016. Now mining ORE are the same situation. Deja vu. The few coin by all day mining Cry, but miners just known the ORE will be the biggest gainer in 2018/2019. Another thing, the rig when mining ORE in the summer is COLD AS ICE! Haha, just kidding, but... Rig is much cooler than mining other coins. Cooler rig = smller bill.

Hi,

I'm really interested in Galactrum project but I have some questions/concerns.

When I make a research on a project, first I check the development team and their activity. When I check the Github activity of this project (https://github.com/galactrum/galactrum) I see that developers are not very active and I don't know what to think about it. There are not any changes on the repo since 31 March. Are they busy? Did they left the project and just maintaining it?

Android Mobile Wallet development is not finished and developers were not able to deliver it on time as Q2 2018. Which is not a good thing and makes me curious.

I'm not able to find any proper information about the development team and their identity. What is the reason behind that? Will they continue development? Will they support the project? Will they try their best to deliver roadmap targets on time?

Kind regards,

Winnie

Our public github hasn't shown any recent commits as we have been 100% focused on developing the Android Wallet in a private repo. Our devs are building it using ReactNativ with original code which won't be made public until the app is finalized and released.

Android wallet is scheduled for Q2, which still has 25 days remaining. We will have the Android wallet released on schedule.

The team (like many) is currently anonymous for a variety of reasons, personal safety being the main point at this time. We are discussing the possibility of revealing our identities in the near future with a "Team Page" on our website, but for the time being most of us prefer to be anonymous.

im fairly new to the project, but i am surprised at how friendly the community was at helping me to set up my masternode.  i am excited at what the future brings for us.  i think this is one of my stable hidden gems.

Gratz on the masternode and welcome to the galactrum community!

Hello, how can I restore/recover the Galactrum Wallet? My PC just crashed and I need to reinstall Windows. Is there a file or files that I have to copy/move after I fresh install the wallet?

You will need a copy of your wallet.dat file (your coins) found in your %appdata%/Galactrum folder by default. If you were running masternodes, be sure to copy your masternode.conf file as well!
