Not that Garlicoin is any more alive but I am no longer maintaining the the thread.
I see the thread comes up as [DEAD] now? Has it always been that way or was I too dense to notice?
The thread name changed two or three days ago. I also wonder what this has to do with. There was no news of the end of the project.
The thread may be DEAD in that it no longer has a MODERATOR?

The low power consumption is great.
But the mining generate very high peaks in power% here (not infrequently 125%, with official ccminer and nVidia cards).
My rigs just shutdown/reset quite often even if I set low core clock and use curve for setting it (and I not set it higher than the factory settings over 900mV).
Also tried with lower mem clock but nothing, my rigs often shutdown.
I using lots of algo and there is no problem with them, but now I'm clueless and don't know how to mine GRLC safely, but efficiently.
Any idea?

Must run intensity 18 or less to avoid power peak issues. 18 is still plenty fast enough and power draw is smooth.

I don't mine..but they used to have problems with AMD cards and run better than OK with Nvidia cards...all I know..don't know if it applies to your situation

You are right, I should update the thread stating the truth about this project.
They have never really bothered in the past, what makes you think they will start now....the usual reply is
"garlicoin is a meme coin" thus it will survive on that alone (the cute name)
they cashed out on the pump and are out now ..IMHO....
I see no real progress or innovation...IF they had some ASIC action now as scrypt-N from the NOW off KNC Titan miners (does not pay to mine LTC anymore)
at least there would be some 'noise' that maybe would have amounted to something as these units tried to mine
now..meh! I see no real future on this coin

I have some problems with my wallet 
I don't see much of the community having a presence here. If you need support I would suggest visiting the subreddit. Not that many people there are going to be able to help (as it's mostly memes) but at least most garlicoin users are there instead of bitcointalk.
Is anyone having problems installing wallet windows? Why does the executable open and close quickly? What is going on? All possible configurations are correct, in fact, the executable opens briefly and suddenly, an error occurs. When will there be updates in the wallet? Is there a web wallet? I was interested in buying some coins, but without wallet, this will be difficult to happen.
Yes i got the same problem. The wallet sometimes open and sometimes open then just close itself. And not it is not sync.

Well, if I was going from this angle, and trying to make Garlicoin a MEME coin, If I was a DEV, I'd be working very, very hard to get some time of
'meme celebrity' like Paris Hilton, (shudder) or someone to be hyping it...you want a 'meme' coin, it is not gonna pump up to anything without that kinda 'hype' IMHO

Download Garlium, the Electrum fork for Garlicoin. I think you might've gotten the full node client (server).

I've never gotten the wallet on windows 10...finally gave up and used a paper wallet...had a meager amount on a web wallet in feb and it was hacked
thus went the heck with it .tossed it all on 5 paper wallets
