Hi Geo Dev!

Actually I need urgent help with withdrawal of my GeoCoin Asset from yobit.net. I almost forgot I had some GeoCoin in the Exchange because it's been frustrating trying to withdraw my GeoCoin. Yobit.net GeoCoin withdrawal  wallet is active, but each time I initiate a withdrawal request, minutes later it will will be canceled. Please how do I go about it?

It's really really frustrating. Your Assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Almost a month with no news on the coin development  Undecided
With the holiday season fast approaching it is a busy time of year for us, but we are still on track with our developments and keep active in the community.

Today, Kris Lester just posted a new article explaining GeoCoin as a case study for How and Why to swap your token to the Ubiq Network.

In this post you talked about Q3/Q4 but of course it was supposed to be an estimation and I understand this but since we're close to the launch it would be better if you can give us a new estimation date because I don't understand if this is gonna take another month or 6 more for example.
Let us know and keep up the good work Weifa  Smiley

Certainly I can answer that.  We have been working with the KryptoTech team for their assistance with setting up our wallet backend.  We were hoping to have the launch out by the year end, but now with the holidays fast approaching we will be working with their team in the new year to get things ready for the launch.  We also plan on running the second phase of beta testing with a more clear set of test case scenarios.

Sorry I do not have any specific launch date to provide at this time, but that is the nature of this ongoing project.  We need to collaborate with these professionals before the launch can take place and we are trying to ensure everything is up and running smoothly prior to launch.

We also feel that the holidays are best spent with family and friends and are excited to continue developing GEO in the new year.  Cheers!

is there any news about an advance of the project?
We've been active lately helping out the Ubiq mining community with the recent transition over to the UBQHash Algorithm.  If you're interested in learning about all the developments this past quarter be sure to check out the new November Quarterly report now live on their medium blog.  Cheesy

Is there a seperate geocoin channel, because there is only a link to the ubiq channel on coinmarketcap?
Once you join the Ubiq Community Discord you'll need to add an avatar photo and follow the verification process.  Once verified head on over to the #geo channel where we hang out.  See you there!

I remember to have spotted this project years ago when it started, and I've found it interesting, but it was not clear how to use it and I've left. Now I have found it again and to my surprise in all these years you still managed to leave it totally unclear on how it works. I've gone through the website and there is ZERO explanation on how to use this Proof of Location. Lots os maps with zero info on how to use them. No mention whatsoever anywhere of a mobile wallet to be used to collect the coins around, I guess there should be one, but how it is called? How is one supposed to go and collect those coins? Your videos contain only slogans and zero tutorials. It looks like you are trying very hard to avoid mass adoption...
The GeoCashing interface is currently under development so you are unable to collect GEO off the map.  We have been working directly with beta testers to ensure that the functionality is well tested before we go for the launch.  We are currently working on improving the ban hammer logic, improving the user experience and adding is some backend tweaks.

I see. But since the Proof of Location is the distinctive aspect of GeoCoin I'd guess that most of the supply should be distributed by this method, but I see that only 25% of the coins are supposed to be distributed this way. Why so few? And when is the Proof of Location expected to be delivered?
When we migrated to the Ubiq Network and became an ERC20 token we capped our total supply at 4 million GEO.  We plan to distribute the remainder of the coin supply at a rate of roughly 50,000 GEO per year through the Proof of Location GeoCashing interface.  We are still under development as I mentioned above, we are aiming to launch the interface near the year end.

Sounds good, even though I don't really know what the "ban hammer logic" is Smiley
As for the video of John D Crypto it's nice but a bit confused, and it mentions that people are already hunting for GEO on the maps... but you said that the interface will be lauched near the year - so how can it be?
He was confused, you are correct the interface is still up and coming soon.

We are continuing to promote the GeoCoin project to the massive geocashing.com community with the use of our physical trackable GeoCoins.  We were able to get another $GEO out to a community member who is willing to help us drop it off into a nearby cache in Germany.  If you'd like to help drop off a physical trackable GeoCoin, please join the Ubiq Community Discord, upload an avatar and follow the verification procedures outlined in the #guests channel, then head on over to our #geo channel.  https://discordapp.com/invite/HF6vEGF
