  • PowPower has been formally introduced to the community and confirmed by Ipollo as an official point of distribution for
Grin ASICs, with a show of support PowPower has pledged 2% of sales to be donated to Grin project development. This also brings more competition to the ASIC market, which may already be the case as both PowPower and Nhash in return have lowered prices. G1-Mini now $499 and G1- is $14500
  • The grinnode.live team remains busy at work with the launch of a new uptime monitor tool for their running

Hello. Will there be another hard fork  or upgrade near future ?

No, there won't be. And the PoW is not expected to ever change.

Recent updates -  Grin && Ecosystem

    News
    • The PIBD (parallel initial block download) update changes they way nodes are brought online with a complete rework cutting the troublesome single-node, single-txhashset.zip download process and moving to a multi-parallel and direct MMR download. For development review and contribution- heavy lifting is taking place on the pibd_imp github branch.
    • Grin++ developer DavidTavarez shares a friendly linux (Python3) bash script to get and install the most recent Grin++ node with ease. A nice bonus from @MCMmike providing some systemmd magic for easy up down node service bindings.

Grin will be a fantastic coin, miners appear to be more engaged, and there will be significant advancement. Aside from this, I also think DAO maker is a good launchpad.  Orion protocol is just one of their successful launch. Going back, Many customers like expenses that are not too high but also easy to obtain. Grin's path inspires good energy.
