GUN has been trading consistently over 200 Sats all afternoon - volumes are still very very high as well.  hopefully that is our new base until our next set of releases.

Something I've noticed on the exchange, is that there is a LOT of buys and not many sells (I can't make this up, it's recorded).  That speaks well of the guncoin community, who see the long term and aren't into the pump and dump!!

Whooooooooooooo, long live Guncoin!!  Almost 4 years..

Back to masternodes, I figure a good start for the collateral requirement would be 50,000 GUN or 100,000 GUN per masternodes, would allow up to a few thousand of them with current coin supply of 200 million.

Maybe we should make you the GUN spokesman - GUN is now up to 212 sats from around 150 a few hours ago....LOL...Keep talking dabs.....

uh... someone just said "privacy" and I said "masternodes" ... and boom, the GUN fired into the air.

Good thing I didn't buy that Glock ... LOL. Someone sell me an AR-15 for 30,000 GUN ....

So indirectly you are going to take credit for the 500% GUN gain this weekend???

Nah, I never take credit for coincidences. Or in this case, market forces. I'm not John McAfee or anyone famous.

I'll take GUN tho. Tongue

Ya no doubt, new address creation threw me for a minute too...was sitting there thinking, boy I hope I did that right as I sent the whole shabang instead of test deposit:-)

Well, it is always a good idea to backup the wallet on a separate zip drive before every doing anything.  If you are doing the Windows one, it should just load and use your existing .dat file and all your wallets pop in once it loads.

Question on new wallet if I may.  Had my coins on Cryptopia when I updated my Gun wallet to 1.3, had to download blockchain again so just left my coins on exchange while I waited for that.  Noticed wallet no longer showed old addresses and had to create a payment request to get new address, I did that and sent coins from exchange to this newly created address.  Cryptopia has shown withdrawal completed now for about 15 minutes but no coins in my wallet....should I be worried here or this just take some time?

Thanks!

Patience pays lol....disregard, coins safely tucked away back in me wallet:-)

OK, yes, keep in mind you are dealing with a very busy exchange in Cryptopia....Their delivery times will very.

Well, this has been a very exciting 48 hours for GUN and the Guncoin team.  We have see our coin price rocket from 25 stats up to where it stands now at about 165 sats - hitting a peak of 300.  We traded over 12 million coins with over 16 BTC in volume which is great for GUN for now.  Unfortunately, this all happened while Cryptopia was going through some upgrades and a lot of our newbies were not able to get set up there - they will have things done soon and more can sign up there then.

We have also seen at least 40 new wallets show up that were not there before.  This is great news and we welcome new users to the community.  As always, thanks so much for the support!

First order of business is to get a Twitter account and a Reddit account going.  Coinmarketcap and other similar sites attach those to the coin in the description with the latest tweets, Reddit posts etc.  If I click on a coin on Coinmarketcap that I am thinking of investing in I usually make sure they have a Twitter or Reddit going and they are communication with the community, when those are blank and empty I sometimes look here but not always and usually move to the next cause there is so many to chose from.  Lets let more people see that Guncoin is make leaps and bounds and show off their new road map.  We'll see 50 cents in no time.

We have had had Twitter and Reddit accounts since 2014.  I post 2-3 times a day on Twitter......Follow us!

The 200 confirmations is kinda ridiculous. I've seen a few exchanges do that with a few coins. Just curious, any idea why they do that? The wallet just requires 6 confirmation. Sending GUN to Cryptopia translates to about 7-9 hours of wait time. Whereas sending from the exchange to your wallet is pretty quick... like a few minutes  Huh
it`s all about craptopia. facing same issues with almost all deposits of any other coins to that shitty shit.

It is wonderful seeing the recent activity around GUN.

I believe that it may be due to certain factors, such as:
There seems to be much new interest in cryptocurrency, expecting 2018 to be a very good year for them, Guncoin included.
We have a long running, solid blockchain.
We are still in an early adopter phase, with available coins to mine at a still decent reward schedule.
The developer is quite active with updates, and appears to be open to ideas to help further the currency.
Investors have probably discovered by now that real value can be made with getting involved in micro-cap currencies.

Last, but not least...brand recognition.
Here is a link to an article, nicely written on examples of coin branding:
https://www.fastcodesign.com/90155800/how-branding-is-fueling-the-cryptocurrency-craze

I say that we appreciate the moment, but be cautious due to corrections that are inevitable.
We'll find a nice median value somewhere and work from there Smiley
