Well, we have to understood we are not dealing with crytpo traders and bitcoin birthed crytpo, huge difference. I agree that less is better, but our generation is more visual. My input would be that when I open up the page I know I am looking at a currency I can buy guns with. Look at
http://bitcoinfast.co/ . All someone really needs to know is name, specifications, pools and wallet. On a positive note, the Users guide is nice, push that, I dont know of many out there with that and a really good way to go into detail if someone wants to dig into coin. All that info does not necessarily have to be on the home page. If it is setup right, the crawlers will index that users guide and tag all relevant info, you already have #2 position on Google when searching Gun coin, so SEO is an non issue.
Websites are cheap to get done. Cost is not an issue. If you are getting big price quotes, you better shop around. You can outsource that stuff on places like fiverr.com for almost nothing
I agree it needs to load fast but we are past dial up age and bandwidth is non issue for a few simple graphics and GIFs.
just some ideas my friend. I promise you I am for cryptos moving forward without cheap gimmicks and most certainly a strong advocate for our 2nd Amendment Rights.
You can bet on this, to get the community to rally around the coin, LISTEN TO THEM. The mentality "build it and they will come" does not work with many new coins being birthed everyday. I am here to help
Funny you should mention BCF.. I mined a bit of that in the beginning, then the wallet disconnected and I forgot all about it. It had this hokey thing, where you had to leave the wallet unlocked in order to multiply or something like that. So, you posted the link and I decided to take a look, and this is all I got..
We're sorry, but something went wrong.

BCF is still hokey, I'm glad I wasn't holding out for a miracle!!
You make very good points about the website, bandwidth isn't an issue for most people, its implementations of java, etc, so simply avoiding that will alleviate a lot of the issues, and bloat as well since java gets bloated easily. And I had thought about going to fiverr myself to have some videos made for the website.
As far as Guncoin intended customers, I got involved for exactly that purpose. I'm pro-2A, own a few guns and use them whenever I get a chance. I'm also a miner and crypto trader, so I see both sides of it. I was part of the dev team before work started taking up 60 to 80 hours a week, and there wasn't time for it anymore. What I was aiming us toward, was ease of use for non techies. I had even scoped out tablets running windows, so that they could be used as a point of sale unit with a regular wallet, and cost under $100 so the investment to use it was small. Even so, that would have been too complicated for many people, this is why I'm convinced that the online wallet is critical.
