Correct me if I'm wrong buddy, DISCIPLINA platform talk about education and relation about teachers and student. Their are many fuction that can help both teachers and student in this platform. The common of these, is the paper works that's involve technologies.This help mostly the teachers because their are many paper works that they need to finish fastly.
There is nothing to correct about your thoughts mate, you have your own idea on how you understand their platform. In addition to your opinion, this project is an unfasten source platform that without exemption, educational and recruiting industry uses blockchain for their projects. They will be using a digital form of storing their personal achievements that promise a determined validity.

What are the issues with the education?
As you can imagine this hard to explain in a few words. However, the whitepaper explains this very well. Some examples are:
For the educational institutions:
1) It's not possible to exchange data efficiently on academic achievement between institutions due to the lack of a unified register
2) There is a high risk of paper documentation loss in the archives of educational institutions
3) Paper versions of documents can be easily altered or falsified
For students:
1) The lack of credible ratings of educational institutions and teacher qualifications
2) The lack of trust in the academic qualifications, because of the difficulty in proving their authenticity
3) The difficulty in creating an educational plan to a employment goal
For recruiters:
1) The difficulty of finding the specialist with the required qualifications
2) The lack of trust in the academic qualifications of candidates
3) The impossibility to qualitatively assess the candidates’ work experience

More people are getting interested to know more about it because this is all about a platform that will somehow solved the problem of securing the information of every students. Exactly, as we all know education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge and skill which is very important to each and everyone of us to be an educated person. As this project adopt the blockchain technology in which they attain various goals as the team work with classic offline to implement trustworthy based on smart-contracts.

Actually they should soon give detailed information on it and i think that they hace really sold a number of tokens so for sure the project can turn much profitable ahead. Most ICOs just claim that they have "private angels"

DISCIPLINA is effective today because of its appealing ideas that would change the creaky procedure of handling their personal information. In the future this project will become a credible source of achieving the objectives of the different institutions that guarantees a reliable learnings.

What is the idea behind helping less fortunate kids with this platform? Will there be education via video calls or packaged learning material? Why is it better to be offered via the blockchain?
You know that your offer to train a video call or video lessons is also a good option! But this project is not a charitable organization. The main task of the project is to store data for students and teachers.Why they think that this project will teach a student to have a lesson through video call ? This project works to helps the student and teachers by making their task easily. By this platform the data that being gathered will be kept and easy to access in terms of using time. Data is very important it is kinda files. This project manifest the data to store in easiest way.
It's strange that you did not read the whole topic on the forum. Since I wrote there further that the work of the Disciplina project is based entirely on the other! Do not be lazy and flip through the whole topic before this answer. Then you change your point of view.

Great updates team. Eventhough I missed the live streaming of this video, still the team find ways to shared this videos in the world. Anyways, I really appreaciated the effort of DISCIPLINA team as they are continuing promoting this project in other countries. In fact, I have read that they were planning to have a conference in Japan. I hope they will gained positive feedbacks there that will lead for the betterment of this platform. Goodluck team.
