POS rewards are easy, they come from forging blocks.

POP rewards are Proof-Of-Presence (Online storage of blockchain slice files),
how are they sent, should any special settings be written in the config file to receive POP rewards?

Go to the web wallet, in a separate tab use a password generator to create a secure password, enter that password into the web wallet (be sure to save and/or memorize the password you use). You now have new account.
