yeah at the moment at least its just the big cpu farmers who are getting those incredible hashrates.

there is a 64bit version? because my cpu is doing only 66k hashpersec

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5638232

With an 8 core Xeon I'm consistenly getting 180 khash/sec.

And about top pool users, remember that they are ranked by username/wallet address, NOT per worker. Very large hashing rates most likely correspond to CPU clusters or farms mined by many workers. We still have to see evidence that HVC is GPU minable. I haven't seen any so far.

is this supposed to be normal with an i5 2500k ?
when I see everyone in the top 100 with rates between 2 mhz & 80 mhz on 1gh, I'm kinda worried, it almost looks like there's a secret GPU miner  Grin

Yeah, thats spot on. My 2500K pulls the same.

yup that's the logo as far as i'm concerned, awesome.

Pretty nice looking.  How does it look scaled down to icon sizes?  It needs to look clear and recognizable at small sizes too.

It resizes terribly! Textures and 3d don't do well at smaller sizes so you basically have to remake the entire thing anyways. This was to try a heavy/solid coin texture. My favorite creation is still the second one though. Pure heaviness.

cool,good job.

please join http://heavycoinpool.com now 1gh.com 95% hashrate network this not good for HVC

tried switching but got "booooos" so switched back to 1GH

maybe because of the miner. they only currently have a beta linux "custom" miner so no use to me.

maybe they will get more traffic with a windows miner, until then its back to 1GH for me.

i tried...

ua

Yeah, I also got the same thing... but was because I was using the 1GH cpuminer that's not compatible with the official hevycoin beta one.  https://heavycoinpool.com/downloads/linux-miner-beta-heavycoinpool-v0.1.tar.gz

Lovin' HVC good CPU coin for me!

Why do you feel that you necessarily need to sell your freshly mined HVC @ 0.00006?    Huh

whatever you think it'll magically worth in some virtual future with the help of some faeries, it doesn't even pay back the electricity for those who mine at home  Grin
So unless one owns some shady network or have access to a supercalculator, better forget this...

False.

Mining with an 8 core Xeon, getting around 80 HVC a day. At current prices:

0.00006223 BTC/HVC x 80 HVC =  0.0049784 BTC x 633.5 USD/BTC = 3.15 USD / day

That's around three times my power consumption costs. At current rates.

That said, you better hold your freshly mined HVC some time.

yeah I read the statement. I still kinda smell a rat though   Cool
Right now, mining with 3-4 ghz quadcore brings you about 40-50 HVC per day, so even @ 0.00006 rate , it's 5 times less than any GPU coin, plain ridiculous  Wink

GPU miner is impossible with the HVC core, check this page http://heavycoin.github.io/about.html#cpu-only for details

Some people have a lot of merged CPU hash power. it looks insane, yes. but they do.. the top 100 are people with a lot of CPU power.
