Looking at Lisks website. Lisk dapps are not embedded in the blockchain like smart contracts. They need to be hosted by nodes on the network.
While it probably is good way to do it for many things, personally I think ETH is a better solution for Inchain.

Also Lisk havent reached the Lisk App SDK stabilisation milestone on their road map yet.

3. Lisk App SDK stabilisation
Stabilising our sidechains and making it possible for developers to start working on blockchain applications

So while it is possible to deploy dapps now, there will be major changes to the process later, making it too early to deploy large projects on Lisk imo.

Also Lisks latest hard fork was less than a month ago with 0.3.4

You're absolutely right. Eth is the best way for Inchain. And I'm also worried how can Lisk handle such a big project at this moment. Inchain has sitll 5 weeks to deliver it's tokens and Eth network should stabilize after this hard fork.

But is the Dapp running on the network? I know some projects running JavaScript on a blockchain but they are not fully decentralised.

Also a smart contract faliure on Ethereum doesnt cause Etherum it self any ploblems. Just like your example with Lisk.
Lisk dapps are fully decentralised and running on their own side chains not on the main Lisk network. That's why dapp can't destroy main net
in theory and in practice.
Regarding Eth smart contract shouldn't do harm to main net but only in theory. I think it's just a matter of time when someone will try to make a big damage to Eth with use of a smart contract.

Does Lisk support smart contracts?

Stratis would have been an intersting choice if it had been a bit further along.

In short: Lisk don't have support for single smart contract. It supports Dapp which is something like Ethereum's "application" composed of several smart contracts. So maybe it could be good solution for Inchain because it is more advanced project than a single smart contract. But Lisk has some disadvantages associated with JavaScript. I'm not such a good programmer that's why it's only my sugestion.

And yes, you can say Lisk is still in production and noone made a really big project on Lisk side chain. But you can aslo say Ethereum is still in production because of hard forks which must repair messy situations.
If a Lisk's dapp fails, the Lisk network doesn't feel. If one smart contract fails at Ethereum, it can mean game over for Ethereum.

The situation with Ethereum is very poor. We are waiting when his problems with ddos & next hardfork will be solved. We need his stability to launch.

Is this project in anyway dependent on Augur?  Is there a point at which Ethereum instability may force you to consider a different platform?

Nope. About Ethereum: yes, if Ethereum will not be more stable we will think where to move Inchain.

Any suggestions?

Maybe Lisk? But I don't know if it meets all your technical criteria. Lisk is a backup solution considered by Iconomi team.

Their (Lisk) blockchain is already in production ?

Awesome, glad to see more and more people realize the potential of Stratis platform, but their beta released will be november, it is too late for Inchain. I did the Chinese translation for both Inchain and Stratis project. I will be very happy if they cooperate.

For lisk platform, I can't see they can handle Inchain, such awesome project. I recommend OP stick with Eth, Eth will have hard fork next Tuesday, everything should be smoonth after the HF.

Guys, we are looking for a Chinese promotion partner for Inchain ICO. If you know someone please let me know.

https://decent.ch/decent-partners-8btc-com/

8btc has been a Chinese gateway for many ICOs
http://www.8btc.com/

8btc is a joke, they request every altcoin 2 btc listing fee there.

Really? You mean like Shittrex coin listing fee? I guess there are other ways.

2 btc fee to make OP thread and talk about an altcoin, if don't pay the fee, the mods will delete those posts. Besides, people will pay money to read an OP, it means that, you pay 2btc to promote an altcoin, people may not read it because they need to pay to read. LOL, so promoting there is unneccesary.

Shittrex at least lists the coin and trade, but I don't see the neccesarity to pay 2 btc on the 8btc.
