im a risk taker. Im 50/50 on this stance. since most here are negative, i want to get your side on this. How is it possible that in their roadmap they offer mining and staking if EthConnect is an ERC20 token? You shouldnt be able to do that since you are just piggybacking off the ethereum network. So what is there to secure?

I went into my own Chrome browser history for Monday, October 23. As you can see, I too attempted to look at the white paper but was taken to a broken link with the misspelled "WhitePapper_en.pdf". This is what I have circled in red, to make it nice and easy for you. I then corrected the url manually to "WhitePaper_en.pdf" and was subsequently taken to the correct destination. You can see that it's the next entry in my browser history.

As others have mentioned, this doesn't mean "scam" or "no scam". It's corroborating a fact that was pointed out earlier. I myself lean on the side of the Ethconnect team potentially trying to quell our fears by creating fake personas, without necessarily "evil" intentions. It seems to have backfired, and has now left people in doubt. Will have to think this one further.

Because the real money goes to the people who run the platform, and they have every incentive to keep it running for a while if it isn't fully automated. Just imagine premining a ton of coins (say 1,000,000) then creating value in them by tying those coins and the platform to a bot. In reality no one needs a lending platform if they purchase their own bot (like gunbot) and configure it because there are coins out there that are way more volatile than eth and btc, however people love convenience including "moi".
