Some people here are delusional and still think that the "devs" are coming back.  Wake up you got scammed and lost your money.  You put money into a ponzi scheme with a fake team, what do you expect?

based on their social media accounts they are moving the data center (which to me makes sense) but everyone else thinks they did a runner... I just dont get why would they still be posting on social media

and this guys is behind ETHconnect?

Sooo what happened here? Can someone put me up to speed here? The website was shutdown or did the devs run away with everyone's funds. The SEC is gonna jump into crypto sooner than later with all these scams.

Migrating servers to a new datacenter don't require to shutdown all servers from my understanding. They should have at least kept the homepage stay online. High chance that they've already ran away.

Out of the loop for a few days, so , they just done one.  I only had 145 coins at £50, so what ever. 

Dude you talk bs, you dont want it to be true, but they will exit scam.

1. They let us Withdraw
They let only a few withdraw, maybe just the one with a small amount of BTC.
simply to spread trust in the platform. So other ppl will deposit their BTC.
There are so many ppl who cant withdraw.
let 50 BTC withtraw in order to get 100btc in new deposits.
Its that simple.

2. They have the chance to make alot more money
yes thats true.
I strongly believe that the exit scam was not planned. I think they planned to launch the Platform.
But its not always that simple.
Maybe something happend, maybe the team split up or some other difficulties. Maybe all the FUD that was going around was too much for them.
So they decided to just take the 10mio instead of taking the risk of loosing all, to the dumpers.

People who own / launch such platforms are not stupid, they have ways to calculate their profit and potential outcome. They also dont have just one Project. Usually they have 2-3 HYIP / ICOS under their control.

I think they decided to launch another project without the mistakes they made with ethconnect.
Ucoincash also looks very similar. Maybe thats the same team, and the whole plan was to see wich Platforom perfomrs the best.
And now they pulled the plug on Ethconnect.

I dont tell you that to cause FUD, but iam in that scene for myself. I have contact to ppl who own /owned HYIPS.

Maybe they come back, but the chances are minimal. Just use you Brain, Why do they switch servers now?
Especially now, when everything works fine. Now, when all servers run stable?
Now when the cumunity is so split up. 50% scream SCAM the other 50% scream that they be millionairs.
Why cause more FUD in takin the servers offline?
Why dont they migrate the new servers and leave the other server online? And then just chance the redirect?

Everyone who still claims that they are legit, is just an idiot who doesnt want it to be true.
But that wont change anything,

How would they know? When you signed up here, or on any social media platform did you supply identification? I could easily sign up an account under the name King Mogsie of Maine USA..... (I have never been to the USA) and could do it through a hidden VPN or TOR. There are more fake accounts on FB than most people think.

How does anyone know Sergei the Russian is behind ETH? Has someone thrown a name in and fold jump on the bandwagon?

what the specific token price and what the Exchange do you plan after the crowdsale ended. I think it is good concept for it

But BitConnect is still around and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.  Even if it is a Ponzi, they only close up shop when they stop getting new people.   Crypto is so new they will have clients for years.

Everyone crying exit scam want it to be an exit scam SO bad because they know they fucked up and didn't make some serious cash. It's so fucking funny, few days ago they were quiet as a mouse. They will be back. There's a few red flags but there's also many things that suggest they won't scam. They stopped deposits, let people withdraw btc, websites still pinging, have a chance to make a lot more money, just created an app on google play store etc.

So they post updates on FB/Twitter because they want to calm you down and run with money? what's wrong with you guys? if they run they run and delete FB/twitter etc...

You guys is such a cry babies omfg! next time stay away from any ICO and put your money in your local bank...

Stop whining like a little bitch, you knew the Risk, everybody was screaming scam, hundreds of Videos are outthere telling you that it might be a scam.
You invested on your own Risk, now get over it.

All the signs were on the wall on this one. They were lying from the beginning about EVERYTHING...

There was no pro team behind ethconnect "Eth Con", just a few amateurs. Now they have 7 million dollars in BTC... end of story.

I am sure facebook, twitter, reddit, and bitcointalk know who the scammer is, and it would be nice if they could release some intelligence. How about we write a petition to these social media platforms asking for the release of information? It might work!

Just like i said earlier, until i see proof that i have been scammed... Until then...For now, i do not have any reason to doubt them.

They could be telling the truth or lying. But until i see proof that i have been scammed, then i will believe they are scammer.

If simmilar type of guy is running Ethconnect he would not exit scam.
There is so much hype potencial here that on exchange he would make 15x more he allready have(14mln)

Only newbie would do that.
