If you would like to see how easy those 500k blocks were, pm me your email and you can have my, now empty, 500k and 128k ifc wallets.
eg. I managed 100 524k blocks/ 52,428,800 IFC with only one 300 khash gpu, before the first halving.I'm sure it will make you laugh and/or make your jaw hit the floor.

But that very same "almost premine" is whats holding the coin back newcomers feel cheated and by supporting coins they would basically enrich the earlyminers.
It should have started at the rate it is now (16k/block instead of 500k).
Those massive amounts of mined coins need to get into circulation for ifc to actually start working. And that needs ifc based shops or services - that do not actually need $ or btc to back it up.

Hello everyone, I've been very happy to have created infinite coin and with the community went through the ups and downs with it. I have been trying to help the community on the fixes of issues and keep the coin in good state. But since I have a regular job, and which requires frequent travels, I don't always have access to internet and IFC code base. So I am not always be able to perform my duties and in time support as the owner of the coin.

so ifc is gettign harder quite soon.. end of the year it should be down to like 4k/block?
Just sad.. another coin im like 2 months late with.
those lucky ones who could solo mine 500k/block..
Perhaps at least by new year, when mining gets way harder - the price might increase.. or fail completely( since new people get too little and older ones hoard and wont trade).

In the next version of the client after the fix release 1.8.5 we plan to address this issue by increasing the default transaction fees. Does anyone have an opinion of what that number should be? What do you think is fair for a TX fee yet still rewards miners?
TX fees should be 0.001% or 0.01% depending on how harsh you want to be

Trying to synch. says im at 250k something blocks, out of 290k, then it changes to 450k and then back to 290k and i've been at this for a week, cant get my wallet to synch.

This method 100% work. I can confirm that.
if you use windows
1-download this :https://mega.co.nz/#!wERQESKT!VjDLhD51Tscp0YGUuLLGHXCu29dtxDuaabk0F7csQgI
2-go to c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin
3-copy wallet.dat in a safe folder (make one or two copy it's your backup be sure to make this or you loose all your coins)
4-remove all file in c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin
5-unzip the downloaded file , and copy all file from the unziped folder to c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin
6-copy your wallet.dat to c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin
7-you can start the QT now it will take some minute to get the lastest block and you will be sync

The sync bug should really be fixed easily soon.. This kills IFC
