This insurance fund may be another good feature that can attract more investors on their platform.
They are already doing good in many exchanges including binance, but with more partnerships and unlocking more features, they can easily jump to top 100 alts.
This, I can say, has one solid foundation, unlike those meme coins that are growing these days.

The Injective Insurance Fund

What is an Insurance Fund?
In order to understand the function of an insurance fund, one must first understand the margin system used for leveraged derivatives trading. On a high level, leverage allows traders to enter into derivatives positions whose value is much higher than the collateral posted to fund the position.

As a result, it is possible that the losing party on a trade cannot afford to pay the winning party if they run out of margin, i.e. the position becomes bankrupt. When this occurs, the trader’s position is liquidated and a new trader takes over the position. In the event that the new trader takes over the position at a worse price than the bankruptcy liquidation price of the position, the insurance fund is utilized to cover the resulting deficit.

Reflexer will Integrate the RAI Stablecoin with Injective's Derivatives Protocol

Reflexer will be integrating the RAI stablecoin with Injective, making us the first decentralized derivatives exchange to support RAI.

Reflexer is a platform where anyone can use their crypto collateral to issue reflex indexes. Reflex indexes are stable assets that are not pegged to anything, very similar to how the US Dollar is not pegged and it is still considered stable. The Reflexer team is backed by the likes of Pantera and Paradigm.

RAI is the first stablecoin on Reflexer and operates in a similar fashion to DAI. However, unlike DAI, Reflexer is entirely administered by algorithms rather than manual forms of governance. In particular, RAI is a non-pegged, stable asset that is solely collateralized by ETH. It is designed to dampen ETH’s price moves and thus provide a more “stable” alternative to Ether as DeFi collateral.

Injective Partners with UMA to Launch Innovative Synthetic Products

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with UMA to launch innovative synthetic products.

By integrating with Injective’s decentralized derivatives exchange, synthetic assets on UMA can be made available to our users moving forward. Notable synthetics that we plan to introduce include uGas, a solution for hedging against Ethereum gas fees. In addition, we plan to integrate an ETH/BTC index which would provide an avenue for traders to attain a token that tracks the ETH/BTC price ratio.

A second key point of our collaboration with UMA will focus on an integration with UMA’s Optimistic Oracle which is custom built to support synthetic asset collateralization.

Injective Protocol Catapults to Over $1 Billion Valuation after Latest Growth Funding Round to Create a Robinhood for DeFi

The proliferation of decentralized finance (DeFi) continues as a new unicorn is crowned: decentralized derivatives exchange Injective Protocol announced that it has closed $10 million, valuing the network over $1 billion.

A group of prominent new and existing investors who participated in the round include Pantera Capital, BlockTower, Hashed, Cadenza Ventures (formerly BitMex Ventures), CMS, and QCP Capital. It was also reported that billionaire NBA team owner and Shark Tank judge Mark Cuban made a strategic investment into Injective. Cumberland, the crypto arm of one of the largest trading firms DRW, also recently disclosed their investment in Injective.

Injective has been in the unique position of turning away a flurry of interested investors in the greatly oversubscribed funding round that follows its recent hockey stick growth. Raising a sum of money so small relative to its valuation means that the project effectively had near zero dilution.

Led by a team of Stanford and Harvard graduates, Injective streamlines fully decentralized trading with a fast and secure layer-2 exchange that allows individuals to trade any  market, including stocks, crypto, forex, crypto, NFTs, and even synthetic assets.

Injective enables instant transaction finality, and allows its users to trade with zero fees. Legacy platforms like Robinhood take about 2 days to execute the deals and make money behind the scenes through market maker rebates, which ends up increasing the costs for traders.

It should be trader friendly, otherwise, it may look as a complicated one and very few will dare how to use it. Or they can post tutorials and such, to familiarize what is expected upon using their platform. Also, they are still in testnet. Right now, you can test their site as they are giving 100k testnet USDT tokens. So using these tokens, you can already get the feel how to use their platform before their mainnet arrives. By the way, when are they going to deploy their mainnet?

That's pretty interesting to see that but i doubt that can easily attract the new users to join in injective. The implementation will be so difficult and im seeing it as a bit complicated to be used by ordinary users. Im feeling curious about what kind of parameters will be used to determine the function.

The largest Asian validator HashQuark is partnering with Injective to become a genesis validator.



HashQuark is part of the HashKey group, a digital asset management company that works alongside Wanxiang Holdings, a multibillion dollar financial services conglomerate in China. HashQuark acts as a major validator for projects such as Polkadot, Klaytn, and Kusama. HashQuark is backed by Qiming Venture Partners which is known as an early investor of Xiaomi and TikTok creator ByteDance.

Injective is Integrating with Avalanche to Launch a Diverse Array of Interoperable Derivatives

Injective will integrate with the newly released Avalanche-Ethereum Bridge (AEB) to create a two-way transfer zone between the Injective Chain and Avalanche. We anticipate completing this integration by Q2.

With this integration, Injective will launch derivatives that utilize the native Avalanche token (AVAX) as well as other native Avalanche assets. Injective will also explore the addition of entirely new derivative products, such as products related to Initial Litigation Offerings (ILOs), that can greatly aid in expanding the reach of DeFi and derivatives globally.
