It is just a matter of where they put the decimal point. I think it is fun to get a lot of coins even if each coin is not worth much. All of the coins you get are together worth something. The block rewards will be automatically decreased over time and the net hashrate is very low for intense coin compared to other coins so far. If the numbers go to MH/s instead of kH/s we will get less coins in mining rewards for the same mining hashrate. This may not be a problem because the price will also rise in future. This coin is still very young.
In 2 years you maybe get 10 coins / day instead of 1000 for mining with one GPU but the price of each coin may be 100x higher than today. This is also the reason I don't want to sell my ITNS coins yet.
