Again same thing, can't place or cancel any orders! Last trade timestamp was 30 minutes ago!

What rebound?
In any case, I witnessed the yesterday's problem first-hand, I deposited some fiat and I went to trade it but after about 10 minutes of researching some stuff, their website started having problems and it took them about 1 hour to recover. After another 10 minutes the withdraws had been re-enabled too.

Is this some sort of reenactment of 2017? I've been sitting here the last hour pressing F5, and the best I got is a blank trade page FFS!
Clearly someone is still trading according to cryptowatch, so which fu**ing side of the planet do I need to fly to cancel my orders?

I have a general question in regard to leverage trading.
Lets say I have 10.000 $ in my account and I want to short ETH with 1000$ at 5x. (5000 $ in total)
At kraken I would have to enter 5000 $ sell at 5x!? (is that right?)
Now lets say, the price goes 20 % in the wrong direction. Will kraken liquidate my 1000 $ or will it let it go on as I have more $ as a collateral in my account? (cross margin eq. to Bitmex)

Correct. In regards to being liquidated or not, you will want to monitor your margin level. Once it reaches 100%, you will no longer be able to open new positions. If your margin level falls even further, some of your positions may be forcibly closed. @SuWide Not sure to understand fully why you're saying but I think what you're looking to use are different order types the "Stop-Loss" "Take Profit" and "Settle Position" Which kraken.com has under "New Order" and "Advanced" option.

Bitcoin Cash will hard fork on November 15 2018 around 4:40 pm UTC as part of a scheduled protocol upgrade. This upgrade is more controversial than previous ones and may result in multiple viable chains after the fork.
Initially Kraken will only support Bitcoin ABC, which follows the Bitcoin Cash upgrade roadmap published by bitcoincash.org. I'd say, de-list it and be done with this joke!
By the way, wouldn't it be beneficial for both KRAKEN and ARK to have a collaboration, since ARK is an old, stable and strong project which is listed in many exchanges already but among the fiat trading possibilities, only USD deposit and trading is supported through Bittrex.
ARK is also a business entity in France (https://blog.ark.io/ark-creates-a-unique-business-entity-827c488c7fb8); I believe it'd easily pass any check you do before you list a coin.

Adding Cardano and Qtum was a good choice, adding Tezos a less one. No idea why Kraken hasn't listed Horizen yet. Perhaps a street protest with people and signs outside the doors of Kraken offices added to a couple of CNN journalists in cameras. This is something we can organize easily.
