I had said I was from California, USA. Which is true, I was born in Downey. I am currently in Michigan though.
When I finished posting I had realized that since the context was time zone difference, maybe I should put the place where I am at, and not where I am from, which is why I quickly fixed it.

A decision is being made on the platform - Bitcoin based, Skycoin, or build from scratch. A website is up and currently being built. An alpha version of the client will be released prior to any more fund raising. We are using tk808's list as a checklist for development goals leading to release.

I took a risk here, even posted my reservations along the way, and lost (though some of us like the idea enough we are continuing on with it). On other offerings I have done very well, earning way more than was lost here.

Agreed. The beauty of cryptos is you can seperate your identity from your finances. Likewise, entrepreneurs can seperate their identities from their creations. This is the best part about the crypto-world.

If you put your coins on an exchange with a long history of fuckups (mtgox) and it gets stuck, it's your own fault.

Agreed. Crypto gave opportunity for other people to invest in a high risk/reward. I rather get scammed than to put my money in a "safe" 401k or stocks.

I agree, too much shit is ending up in ANN of new coins. Atleast make another forum for serious announcements that cost to make a thread about it so we can at least save time and effort when choosing what coin to invest/mine.

Why is there still no mod activity in this thread?
The mods of this forum are at fault for creating an environment which fosters illegal activity. In some cases they may even be liable for damages.
There is no protection, no recourse, no guidelines, no rules.
