I will express, perhaps, an unpopular opinion in this topic, but it seems to me ltc project is slowly dying.
No it is not dying. It is much better than Dogecoin and if you see Dogecoin alive why do you see Litecoin is dying. Litecoin has very good network hashrate and it means a lot about its health

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin are a few altcoins from years ago still be alive now and they will be alive next more years.

How much has the hashrate and the number of transactions of ltc changed in recent years? It seems to me that it has decreased, not increased. Correct me if I am wrong. How much has the price changed? Almost nothing and the price is marking time in one place, which means that the coin is not bought. This is a direct indicator that the project is not of interest to investors. It seems to me that the best days of ltc are over.

I don't see how it looks like dying.

Ok, but why doesn't the price rise then? Few people believe in the future of the project?  This is also a definite indicator, isn't it. If investors believed in ltc, they would buy it and hold, which would lead to their further growth. But we don't see this.  The price was unable to renew even the previous maximum.

It needs a powerful hype to do that. LTC is a calm crypto.
calm i don' t think so. In one day - or + 25% is not calm. The price is controlled to keep commissions low. if it reached 1000 the commissions would increase by 7 times. already today to move 1000 dollars it takes 3 dollars. If it reaches 1000 it would take $ 30

According to cryptwerk, there are now 3,167 companies worldwide that accept LTC directly as payment. The acceptance of digital currency by merchants is currently slightly less than half that of Bitcoin.

It may not seem like much, but I don't think it's a coin that is slowly dying, but that is gradually gaining space in a healthy way.

Litecoin? To keep or not to keep?
I ma still keeping it.
At least, this is an old coin and I still believe that this will have another ATH again.
But yeah, this seems outdated, but it is still worth to keep.
Even I personally also feel that it is too slow to get its rising price, likely left behind others, but there is still a chance to keep it up  Wink

Litecoin is still a good cryptocurrency to keep, I think it's underrated. It maintains a stable valuation, transactions are cheap and fast, and it can be easily used as a form of payment.

I believe you're right. Litecoin is currently 60% below its ATH value. However, as long as Bitcoin maintains its position or continues to rise, Litcoin might get close to its ATH again. However, it doesn't seem like it will get there anytime soon.  Wink

I have the impression that you want to keep it low. Probably due to fees. It is a safe crypto to move value at low cost, if it went up to 1000 there would no longer be the same convenience I suppose. But perhaps it would be time to implement a platform on which to swap and create a platform with tokens that can be generated by LTC.

Technology is already out-dated, but if Bitcoin is considered the "gold," then this technology would be the "silver." Litecoin is a "safe" crypto that mainstream investors can FOMO into once Bitcoin takes off in value. We aren't done yet. We are expecting big developments soon as well.
In each bull market, we see new technologies, new trends but after all how many of them can survive in bear market. How many of them can be developed in more than 4 years?

Litecoin is in crypto since 2011 and it has not died. It is much stronger than many altcoins. Please look at Dogecoin and see a strength from oldest altcoins.

Have all of these convinced you to stick with Litecoin? How do you feel about LTC?
It will retest all time high and if it can not break it, you can wait for next halving of Litecoin, in 2023, 2 more years. It is not so far and you can wait. Do you know how Litecoin rose before its halving in 2019?

After Taproot upgrade was successfully introduced to Bitcoin and it also did not lead to a fork, are there actually plans on Litecoin's part to implement the upgrade as well? This should also make Litecoin more efficient and provide greater anonymity. Could not find any information on this.

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.

monthly fees 5$, activation fee 10$. Why i must use this visa and not the visa of my bank that is free?

I believe many Hodlers will use it, with a desire to support the "brand", or simply to have a personalized card with the LTC logo. In my opinion, it's just one more way to promote the currency.

I think you are right. Personalized card is LTC support, brand advertising and shows the status of the owner. Also, the monthly fee of $ 5 for many countries is not expensive.

Sorry, but it is for any country. More than a lot of cards don't charge a dime on monthly basis, so why does someone get this card for "LTC only" use and pay every month $5? Undecided
The status of a holder is been shown from other things and not from a plastic card that has his name on it...
