Collateral will remain same...

Good to know that Lobstex will have constant collateral over time, over different phase of its network.
Recent months, there are abundant new launched masternode coins that require MN investors to buy more coins due to increases of MN collateral.
I don't like the sort of MNs.

We cannot compare ourselves with other MN coins, but we will stick to our specifications....

Looking at the lobstex_install.sh  can you explain why this nodes are added to the lobstex.conf for the MN ?

#Addnodes
addnode=45.63.94.181:14146
addnode=18.191.8.179:14146
addnode=120.27.12.209:14146
addnode=121.63.252.174:54422
addnode=107.181.176.99:50194
addnode=144.202.106.254:14146
addnode=92.222.241.108:14146
addnode=139.162.252.47:14146
addnode=198.13.40.237:14146

why two of them have the port different from the standard port 14146?

Thanks for pointing out, it was a typo mistake. Added updated nodes...

I'm curious about the Lobstex Budget system. Is there any budget votations running on masternodes?

The white paper says It is the Masternode holders who can vote for a particular bud-
getary task. The ‘Yes’ has to be more than ‘No’, for a task to be accepted. The
budget proposals can be seen from Tools, debug console of wallet using
“mnbudget show” command and voted by using “mnbudget vote” in the
console.

Is this working?

How is the budget funded? There are developers fee or percentage of block reward for that?

Yes, MN hodlers can create a budget proposal, but the MN hodlers have to vote to accept the budget proposal...Budget proposals get funded by block rewards.

I found the 'masternode setup guide' very well done and easy to follow! Just a side note: Right now Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS  is also available as VPS , so should be possible to update the guide and the shell script as it now checks if you have 16.04 with lsb_release and exit if not.

what happened to the Market Cap graph between November 13 and November 16 ? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lobstex/

There was a bug in Explorer 2 (Chainmapper's) Supply and CMC was taking it from there, which we got it rectified and asked Coinmarketcap to take it from Official Explorer 1.

Now CMC is taking supply from official explorer and Chainmapper also reindexed to get proper supply..

Thanks! So ...the last question before I set up a MN is about reward halving. Now the block reward is 30 lobs and is 60% to MN and 40% stakers. Right? In around 20 days the block reward will become 15 lobs forever. So we must expect a decrease in ROI after reward halving and considering the number of MN will increase in the future, the ROI will decrease further?

Yes...You are correct...

30 Days to go for Reward halving.... Get your Masternodes...
Some newbie questions about masternodes:
What is the suggested vps spec for a lobstex MN? I mean how many megs of RAM and gigs of SSD? Bandwidth?
When you have locked 10000 lobs in the masternode, you can stop the masternode and retrieve the lobs anytime you want to or you must wait a certain amount of time before doing it?
20-25GB SSD, 1GB RAM is perfect for smooth running of MN. You can checkout $3.5 or $5 account on vultr or similar sites.
Yes, you can stop at anytime, no time limit per se. MN coins remain in your wallet, just with other address...

scaleway and aruba also have decent cheap vps.

Yes, they are.
