Whats the status of the LuckycoinFoundation/Luckycoin source on github ?
A Ubuntu luckycoind build doesn't appear to want to produce a valid getblocktemplate reply after syncing

The Luckycoin wallet uses the old syntax:
./luckycoind getblocktemplate {}

The new Luckycoin wallet with up-to-date functionality will be available soon.

It's nice to see more exchanges coming on board. Things are looking up.

Oh yes, we need some arb bots now with all the new exchanges and trading pairs.

Anyone out there with arb bot skills?

I have updated my development code base to the latest Bitcoin Core 0.9.3 from version 0.9.1 with which I started a few months ago.
So the wallet will be as good as the latest Bitcoin Core release with all the features enabled.
The update solves some crashing issues. It seems this was purely related to the Bitcoin code base and not code my extensions.
The new advanced checkpointing code works very well so far. I have yet again restructured and repartitioned the original PPC checkpointing code.

I am now back to the new difficulty retargeting scheme and working out a protection for a specific time warp attack.
I haven't decided yet, if we already hard fork with the wallet update or later on in a second update.
We will see what revelations the weekend brings.

Titan

I have cooked up a time warp defense today deep inside the block chain logic.
This looks interesting now and solves several problems in an elegant way.
It uses the same mechanisms as the ACP code to select the right chain.

I have to run some simulations tomorrow with the new code, but it runs already very smooth on the main Luckycoin network.

Hi Titan,
I come here quite often to check LKY progress. I have a question, don't you want to take over LK7 coin too? Of course, it is abbondoned and lost now, but it really need a skilled dev, and you are the best I know. Even simple LKY wallet clone would help a lot.

A security review of the LK7 wallet has shown that there is a backdoor coded in it...

Happy new year Titan!

 Grin

I've been busily coding a new Luckycoin wallet over the last few days.
ACP is still a challenge to get into the Bitcoin 0.9.x series wallets.

Looks like we got some trading going on coingather!

Titan

That is great to hear!  I noticed that, just need some more sell orders!  Too bad everyone's coins are stuck at crypsty at the moment :/

I've got the redesigned ACP working now in the Bitcoin 0.9.x wallet! This needs now some serious testing.
ACP now manipulates low level data structures at the core of the wallet to trigger the checkpoint reorganizations.
No one has done such a thing before, but everything looks good so far.

Titan

The new wallet is working fine in my tests. I am still working on the analysis of some potential concurrency issues.
Due to the ACP redesign I have to protect some internal data structures in a different way. All in all the progress is good!
Cryptsy will be the first to get the new wallet.
