I don’t trying to be negative here, just a question : Dont you think other companies, like sony, samsung and nvidia will make this better, just because they have more money, more skilled specialists etc.?

Fortunately, not all is binary and a direct function of $ resources in the startup and tech world. Our technology is proprietary and protected so that nobody else than Lucyd can use it. The underlying free form optics technology patented is only available to Lucyd, and it's unlikely (although possible) that a competitor will come out with something incorporating all the features our tech enables. Even if this happens, the AR is going to be so big, there will be space for more than one player!

Our tech has a number of first ever features, please see them at:

I understood your point of view. I have great hopes about your project, so good luck!

Hello
I have a question. Will these glasses be useful for people with disabilities and in what ways?
Thank you

Helping folks with disabilities is what keeps me personally so driven with this company. Real time speech recognition in glasses can help for example people with hearing disabilities.

Imagine: you can't hear me, but your smartglasses can and they can display what I am saying in front of your eyes in real time. How amazing this one application is?

And that's just one example!

Actually this is so right. According to the whitepaper, Lucyd's tech could actually translate other languages for you and help you navigate your way into fixing things. See simulations at the whitepaper.
It's like carrying subtitles wherever you go, helping people with disabilities to have some job on their own. Help them find their way into society's playground, making them confident into what they do.

And more over helping people with their jobs to maximize man hours and minimize failure.

Concluding into a more productive industry.

Hi. I have a question. My eyes is getting tired quickly after wearing 3D glasses for some time, during movie for example. And I'm afraid that I'll have the same problem with AR glasses. Are there some kind of researches about are VR/AR glasses safe for eyes?

This is one of those projects in which you can not understand too long to understand what he plans to do. Virtual reality is one of the simplest ideas for understanding, but at the same time one of the most difficult ideas for realization

I was going through your whitepaper and I came across complex terms difficult for me to understand. Can you briefly explain what do Lucyd glasses actually do?
Hey, Lucyd is an augmented reality startup developing next-gen smartglasses and blockchain app store. For this we are crowdfunding the project to build the first prototype, which will be available in early 2019. Check out this video for the Lucyd lens interface simulation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0P7Gx9VsEU
It seems to me that if you at least got acquainted with the official site, you would immediately be able to understand the brief essence of this project! It's simple! Smiley

Can we see the open sourced code on github to know how well the tech team is? It would be useful for software engineers for example who want to invest in a tech company.

Enhanced user power through Augmented Reality makes life more convenient and productive while mobile. Unlike other existing augmented reality products. This project offers us to have to do more while having less,
surpassing bulky and unwanted-attention-drawing products nowadays. Making a more efficient and convenient platform for both professional and entertainment's sake. Offering the AR Community a more advanced approach, able to handle complex applications while giving concern as well to our physiological state, having high caliber individuals putting together team effort plus a mind blowing idea. These next generation smartglasses will take over the market. It's smart for Lucyd to support the handsfree computing community; because as what we can obviously foresee. AR is the future.

It's absolutely the future. AR is a natural next step in how humans process digital information. The next natural step is for digital information to interact naturally with real objects in real life!

This article talks great deal about future of AR: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/whats-the-future-of-augmented-reality_us_5a5a7ccae4b01ccdd48b5cfb

"Imagine someone telling you that in less than ten years you won’t own a smartphone. It’s a hard pill to swallow considering the unprecedented adoption of smartphones since their debut in the mid 90s.

While smartphones have experienced a meteoric rise over the last couple decades, there is always bigger and better. In this case, ‘bigger and better’ is smaller, faster, and fits right over your eyes. We’re talking about augmented reality (AR) smart glasses"

Yes I agree. Foreseeing what's gonna take over the future is something people are afraid to do. Such a big step for the computing community; but hey, isn't it what we're really looking forward into?
Everybody speaks about being into another platform or dimension whenever they talk about the future ( like flying cars and stuff ) but then there it is, wide and plain. Lucyd's really putting the milestones
to another level of humanity.

May the god of progress be with you guys.

Do you plan to bring anymore advisors on?

It is quite possible, we have been expanding the team quite steadily. Possible AR experts and folks helping us grow the business across the world - we have just added managers for Japan and Europe.

Thank you for the answer. Wish your team good luck, you're doing great
