Encouraging to see new mining operations include Bitmark. Thank you MurkaPool.it

Do you plan on adding more of  Bitmark's eight merge-mineable algos ?

Hi!
Where is BTM community, guys (dbkeys, psycodad, Grendew) ?
What is going on? Price is so low now...
Let's make strike to 180 sat, please Smiley

I am still following this thread, but I am unsure what you expect from me (or the others named).
Thank you for reply, psycodad !
Now I see you are still following this thread and MARKS (not only me)! It's enough!

What is this nutty conduct? Enough? Enough of what? I will show u what is enough and what is not. U asked the dad to lay out their view on the abandon of active commitment from the thread founders which he could not do as he is not in the position to give u a heads up on the matter u brought up in ur outgoing inquiry purported to solicit from them the opinion on the knowledge unbeknownst to them, despite their telling u not to become quidnunc in ur way of addressing ur concern to prompt them for something they do not know especially in light of their limited capacity to speak on the topic into which they had no initiation nor exposure in spite of having spent long years riding the learning curve.

I have been working on a something called linkmark (linkmark.xyz). So far most of the marking has been of the form of timestamped hashes (like on timestamp.bitmark.one). I think more useful would be to allow the hashes to be associated with other object such as links and descriptions (descs).

The links allow people to know where to find the actual data that has the hash, and the descriptions help to find hashes or links that fit a sort of description that people are looking for. Like this you don't have to rely on a centralized search engine to find what you want and you can give reputation to the links and descriptions. The links may also include the hash of the SSL cert, thus this also gives reputation to the certificates themselves without relying on the certificate authorities that are hardcoded into web browsers.

Multisig txs are used to encode the data inside of the public keys (65 bytes for each object). So you can have a 1 of 3 multisig tx, where the first 2 public keys have 2 of the 3 objects (hash, link, or desc), and the 3rd key for spending.

Most of the text entries need to be in base38 format (alphanumeric chars plus underscore (_) and hyphen (-). Like that we can compress the data and save on block space.

So far it is mostly working with the rpc feature (bitmark-cli mark), but there is some issue that I am now debugging that occurs when you try to mark a desc+link. I want to mark bitcointalk.org together with a description, but the client is crashing (working on it now). But desc+hash and link+hash work fine as shown in the example on the web page.

I am currently dealing with some legal issues, so I don't have many hours to work right now, but would like to see if we can get some marking happening. I can explain more later, or just ask me here and I will explain.

Will post source code and binaries for Bitmark v0.9.7.4 release, minor update for the new TLS / SSL libraries in Ubuntu 18 & 20 and Debian 10.

Also, completing testing for Bitmark v0.9.7.6, a protocol update to allow faster initial blockchain download via "headers first, blocks in parallel" strategy. It is 100% compatible with prior versions in the v0.9.7.x series.

Reminder that Bitmark's ticker symbol is preferentially MARKS, as the old ticker symbol, BTM is too often confused with another late-comer coin.

Here is an explorer which correctly uses the ticker MARKS
