WTS 82,408,000.0008 MTX + 2 working copies of the blockchain, set up to be nodes of each other.

Mine your own private abandoned altcoin! Complete starter kit! (It doesn't matter how terrible your hardware is if you're the only one mining)

Bidding starts at 1 BTC.  XD - PM me.

Is this just completely dead? Is anyone willing to pick it back up?

Sadly my blockchain is 13 weeks out of date and I can't find any nodes.

Edit: I think I just forked the blockchain

The block source seems to be fading in and out.  Anyone else have there blockchain falling behind?  Do I need to add a new node?

Mine sometimes gets stuck even with 4-5 connections but if I just leave it open and come back a couple hours later it usually figures itself out.

This is due to indexing issues in memory [pindex->pnext], that were not properly linked. It takes hours because it has to update the chain from the Orphan Root which does one block at a time when getblocks fails. At least that has been my experience in the code [and oh what a Bugger this can be].

Thanks for explaining the technical side to the problem. I thought I was doing something wrong, but now I know it's the code.

@INCAWARRIOR: Not anymore, I seem to be solving just about every block with only one Antminer!  Probably a dead coin and I'm solo mining but it's nice to see that balance skyrocketing :-)

Ok, ok, I'll jump back into this coin.  I've got a few GHs to spare.  Sure would be nice to have an exchange with some buy orders though :-)

If you would volunteer to buy, I have plenty of coins to sell...  Grin

Wallet won't synch. Block Height is stuck on 81969. Client needs update with block height fix!

as you can see, it's a dead coin and dev found more interesting stuff to do... Perhaps you want to take over as dev?

Hey guys

We have some miners on our MTX pool but it's taking resources that could be used for other coins. I'm going to have to shut down the pool unless there's some kind of activity around this coin. Will give it a day and see if anything happens. If not, will have to turn stratum off tomorrow.

Thanks

Good idea i been mining hard for a couple of days on your beautiful pool while the dev seems to push out a new coin and leave matrixcoin to die

MINEP.IT IS THE BEST

Lol, thanks for that Smiley

We have closed this pool now.
