I have a question. When I have multiple accounts, would the POS reward be divided among them depending on the amount they hold? Or does it go to the main account "" ?

By accounts do you mean wallet clients or different receiving addresses in on client?

i mean in your wallet you can create accounts. Account can have many receive addresses.

I've never made accounts in my wallets before, can't help you Sad

Click on Receive and then New Address and that should do it.

These things have got to be worth more than 5 satoshis.  It's way harder to mine than topcoin, and less total coins (isnt it?), not to mention has better features, such as an incentive to actually run the client beyond a period of 3-4 weeks.

We need to be on another ex with this, I'm not moving my holding to that shady little place. And not dropping anything for 5 sat.

Read through the OP, this coin has a great concept!

what happens after 5 weeks. All miners will leave, no one is going fight for 1 mint. How is this supposed to work?

Google for Proof-of-Stake Algorithm. After 5 weeks new coins are generated as a form of interest, no need for miners. The network will be secured even without miners. When holding a certain amount of coins for a certain amount of time in your wallet, new blocks will be generated automatically from it.

the question is who will process SEND transactions.

I suppose it works similar like with Nextcoin, which is explained here: http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/20007/how-does-proof-of-stake-mining-work

Quote
In Nextcoin, proof of stake is used. So the "mining" process there is just about holding coins and leaving your computer on. It doesn't involve powerful CPUs.

Each block (every 60 seconds), a random Nextcoin is selected to be the next "miner". There are 1 billion coins so the odds of a single wallet being selected is the number of Nxt in that wallet divided by 1 billion. (Also, it's possible to calculate and agree on who that node is so the transactions need only be sent to that particular wallet.)

If a node with the selected wallet is running, it will collect the transactions, make a block, and send it to the rest of the network and collect the fees. If the computer is turned off, however, then the entire network will have to select a different nextcoin to make the transaction. This time, the unresponsive wallet will be ignored. The network would suffer in that the time to make a block is decreased, but the thought is that people wouldn't leave their computers off if they have a lot of NXT because they're missing out on all the fees that they could have collected.

The miners will process those via PoS. Generating coins is just the incentive to mine, be it PoW or PoS

Hi
I have to say i dont understand you guys.
Our pool at http://mnt.coins4everyone.com has been up since the very beginning of mining mintcoin.

Hi matoy, sadly I can't withdraw my coins from your ekRONA POOL - SIMPLY YOUR SERVER DOESN'T SENT ANY EMAILS TO ME, WOULD YOU CHECK IT? Many thanks

ps/ or, if you are not advertising as owner, would you give me any contact to them?

I appear to be having the same issue - no emails received.  I cannot edit account put wallet address in or witdraw coins or anything?  I really don't need a buch of stranded coins.  Please look into this as this will make my miners off the pool really fast.

I had the same issue the first day, could not understand how to withdraw the coins.  I wrote a personal message to matoy and he answered in 15 min. All i had to do is go to "Edit Account", enter my pin and click Unlock, then go to my email ( emails already end up in the Spam folder - using gmail ) click on the link and then you can enter your wallet address etc.

All together i have been mining with coins4everyone since 48h already with my 35mh ( i really like this coin Smiley ). Everything was stable (  besides very little downtime on day one but they fixed that very fast ), coins are getting in my wallet, no problems at all. They are friendly guys and try to help fast, still i had to contact them only 1 time and thats even better Smiley

I would recommend this pool so we spread the has a little bit, we do not need 50% pools on this great coin ! Smiley

Happy mining all Smiley

Thank you for your trust mate ;-)
And thanks for such a nice report too!

PS: 35MH/s dude what a rig! ;-)

I am just saying my impressions Smiley As long as the pool is stable and you provide friendly and fast support i will keep mining Smiley Also i am totally happy with 1% donation to keep it all stable Smiley

Keep up the good work !

You hold your coins and pos blocks will provide the new coins. You don't need to actively mine them

Came here for this. Smiley

Usually when the payout decreases the price rises.

Are the miners going to get enough tx fees?

it says low mining power will be required. So I assume the difficulty will be close to zero to allow smooth processing (at least i think how it works)

Hi,

I added the conf file and it synched with the blocks, but still shows it's out of synch. Anybody knows what is wrong?
DO you have connections? if so, wait a bit, it will sync up.

Well, this will not work for us because when you enter the PIN, it tells you to go to your email and click link -  That is our problem as we clearly stated - WE ARE NOT GETTING THOSE EMAILS - not is spam or anywhere.   Any other ideas?  We checked our spam PRIOR to posting to thsi thread.  I emailed him direct and no response yet.

Hm i have no idea why you are not getting the emails Sad ( maybe try with a different email ? gmail worsk for me )
Send him a PM in the forum , i am sure that when he comes online he will fix the problem.

I cananot change the email until I can confirm account changes by clicking the link on the emails that I am not getting.  Other posters have this issue as well.

Please contact us through the contact form in the pool and we'll manage this problem for sûre!

Happy mining at http://mnt.coins4everyone.com!
