What did I do wrong?
I mined with simplevert.com for ~14hrs and I stopped 10 hours ago and I still only get ~4 MONs.
Where as when I mine on p2pool network 1 and network 2, for each of the three previous days I Get ~47 MONS - 55 MONS a day. This is with 1.28Mh/s.

Nothing wrong, diff already by 82

Coin warez diff calculator gives me  7.6 MON on 1.28Mh using VTC calculator and modify diff to 82 and reward to 25

edit:
My p2pool number is consistence with author, he has 25 MONS a day with half of my hash rate. So what's wrong with simplevert ?

hey, if you think you got less than you should have I'll be happy to take a look. Post or pm me a link to your stats page

If I am triple mining on local p2pool with 0.6 Mh/s am I wasting my time? My VTC payments are normal, around 3 VTC per day, but I only received 25 MON in the last 3 days and I've just added the settings for triple mining today, so no para yet.

I want to support p2pool mining, but would I even find a block of MON or parallax with this hash rate?

Hopefully they don´t dump them on poloniex. There are block after block and nearly no user has set is paymentadress now.
If they would give away all mined coins they minimum have to set the bonus to 50% for now

I can confirm the P2Pool Payout Script is fixed now!
I kept track over the Miners Payouts on my node over the last 12 Hours and everything looking very good now.

All Backlogs are cleared and Payouts for MON and VTC get processed regularly.

See for yourselves:

http://mon.qemulab.com/

Look up some of the Miner Stats and you will see their Backlogs of Payments are tiny.

I will completely drop the Fees on the Pool for ONE Week.
Auto Payouts are set to 0.2 VTC and 0.4 MON.

Give it a try!

Just ran some tests on the latest payout program. The codes have improved but unfortunately it is still leaking extra coins to some of 'the lucky' miners.

EDIT: The leak is not significant. Take it as 'sweetener' for the lucky ones.

in readme - "The coin wallets are set to only accept RPC from localhost for security."

if I run miner on another computer in local network, then I have to reconfigure wallets?
where the *.conf files located?

No you don't need to change anything. The RPC connection is only needed from p2pool to the wallets - ie. if p2pool is running on the VM, and so are the wallets, that's how you want it - locked down, otherwise, if RPC is possible from other IP addresses, they could also send other RPC commands (like to send coins off your wallets).

By default, it accepts incoming connections on 9171/9172/9174 (the ports the miner needs to connect on) from anywhere.

thanx! Smiley

The files are now finished uploading and the p2pool "node in a box" is available (complete with README) at https://github.com/Paul-Bradley/EasyNode

This is preconfigured to triple merge-mine VTC+MON+PLX and is the best way to mine, with the highest possible payouts and zero fees.

A reminder - please vote for MON on CoinedUp at http://www.reddit.com/r/CoinedUp/comments/24yk8a/please_add_mon_vtc_team_release_mergemined_on_vtc/

Assuming they're in the default locations, they'll be in ~/.coinname/coinname.conf replace coinname with monocle/vertcoin

HI,

is there a way to change ports?

My wallet won't sync because i think that my ISP has blocked ports 6888-6890. I disabled all firewalls and routed ports to my computer but it still won't sync. I have added nodes also. Ports 6888-6890 are usually used by torrent traffic so that's why i think they are blocked.

You can try proxying the wallet via Tor I guess, preferences -> network -> connect through socks proxy, once you got Tor running

running my own VTC+MON+PLX P2Pool node for about 12hrs and so far have got constant VTC payments and a MON block, I hope to find a PLX block soon.

Enjoy it while you can before everyone starts setting up merged mining.
