www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games

We are at the very near end game of the new X11/MN wallets.
We are experiencing some issues compiling, which is occuring at the very late stages of the compile process.
As you can see from our github https://github.com/muecoin/monetaryunit-x11 plenty has and is being done.
We just need to tweak these last few gremlins.

Again, I'm sorry for the delays, we are just people trying to fit into our spare time to make this project a success, and with most things, there are always little obstacles that get in the way.
We're just in the process of kicking the hell out of them to move them Smiley

Thanks for your continued support, it is sincerely appreciated.

No problem, bizzyb! MUE is doing fine being actively supported by the community which is something essential for any cryptocurrency. As long as everything gets done correctly, even if it takes to become a slowly and steady progress, it should be of no issue. The most important thing would be security and usability, in my opinion. Can't wait to get started to swap my MUE towards the new X11 algo coin with masternodes feature!  Cheesy

That said, I will continue to support MUE for the long term  Wink

Market danger delist, need more volume Smiley

Low volume is the the mechanism for filtering out coins that are not performing.

MUE needs more communication and action to avoid loss of confidence. Come on guys, let's rock and roll.

PS. What's the game plan? Or what can DEV / Community do? Thoughts... Ideas?

The low volume on trex is a symptom of the delays, which is understandable.
I've e-mailed trex about our plans, PM'd them in Slack, and posted in the Slack channel.
Volume has picked up and we have engaged with them, one would hope they would make the pragmatic decision and keep us listed.

It appears our home page has been infected with malware.

I've re-directed DNS for www.MonetaryUnit.org to come to this thread.  Please be aware this can take 24-48 for thet DNS to propagate completely.

I'll nuke & rebuild the site as soon as I am able.

Thanks to cryptolix for the heads up

I've popped into Bittrex support and dm'd bittrex-bill to let him know we're still here, active and no need to delist us  Smiley

So Bittrex is informed, I hope that this will be enough for the time being.
I know that the dev and project team are struggling in the background to get things ready for the X11 transition. They are delayed and missed the time goal that was previously set, but the optimism is there are they are pushing for a beta-release as soon as possible. It is planned to give out a new project update and present some more details and time frames in the coming day/days from what was written in the slack channel.

is dev still active?
Hi, yes we're still here Smiley

Volume on Trex has increased and I have contacted Bittrex as well to let them know we are still active and finishing off the code base for the public beta testing of X11/MasterNodes.

We're a little delayed granted, but we're still busy putting things together in the background which should all be very interesting once they come together.

Baikal mini miner, mining Quark at ~151.8 MH/s using 24.9 W from the wall.
Temp of miner 26 C.

Time since restart, about 5 minutes.

awesome ...

how do the other algos compare? ...

my assumption that the similar hashrates will cause increases ( and decreases ) in power consumption depending on the algo used - may not be unfounded ...

do you mind testing the other algos for 7minutes at a time and taking measurements also? ...

tanx ...

#crysx

Maybe user

I will write the results here.
can help out, I don't have the time just right now.

But as the stats show on Baikals website, the different algos give about 150 MH/s each, but with various wattage draws. Ranging from Quark as the lowest (~25W) to X15 as the highest (~48W), which is pretty much to be expected.

still ...

at 48w max ... its still a damned site better draw than most gpu cards out there ...

im convinced that they are a good investment for thefarm now ... ive contacted them earlier - but wanted real world stats ...

now to get the damned cash together - and spend it all on them ...

who wants to buy a car Wink ... hehehe ...

Could I mine with Baikal Mini Miner ?

Yep on this chain and the new when it ready
i got 3 on it now

thanks
Paul

Could you tell me the settings for Baikal pls ?

MonetaryUnit is more profitable than DASH.

In the web config for the baikal miner, just point it to a pool (stratum+tcp://stratum.weminemue.com:3033) and have the algorithm set to quark. Add a valid MUE address as a username and you're good to go!

Please see here for some for info: http://www.weminemue.com/getting_started

That's perfect. My miner will be received in 3 days. I also have watt meters.  I will try and write the results here.

that would be VERY much appreciated ...

these results are the real-world results ...

i know this much - if the hashrate is to remain the same across the board on these miners - there would theoretically be a difference in power usage depending on which algo is mined ...

this is what i am after - NOT that the miner does 15-mh per algo ... i actually dont really care too much about that - i need to know what the power usage will be for each algo used - so that it can be determined as to how many miners can be used - running the different algos ...

this information will be very important and would be appreciated ... even if its sent via pm - as this may be a little off topic ...

i would like to see mue stay on quark - but that is my lone opinion from many that want to see it go to x11 ...

#crysx

For your information Crysx, Mue will be transitioning to X11 as soon as possible, as it will be relaunched based on Dash code with all kinds of MUE tweaks and adjustments.
I'll see about adding a wattage meter to my miner just for the fun of it.

i know that mate ...

ive read - but quark is still a fav algo of mine ... and only mine by the looks of it Tongue ...

it will be a good transition - as dash codebase is reasonable solid ...

we have looked at ( and still are looking at ) whether to rebase granite on the dash codebase also ... and was looking at changing grn to quark FROM x11 ...

eitherway - it will be a good 'upgrade' when mue is done ... should revive some interest back into it again ...

do you own any? ...

if so - how do you find them as miners? ...

are there any readings as to power consumption from the wall ( not the software ) for the different algos - as well as readings on the average hashrate for each algo?

im interested ...

#crysx

I have a Baikal miner, a single unit, and they are really great!
Here's their product specs: http://baikalminer.com/ShowProducts.asp?id=466
I don't have any watt meters connected but I am positive that the wattage is as they have described per the datasheet.

I am currently mining Quark but aim at switching to X11 again once MUE goes over to X11. I was mining Dash previously, but I was getting 1 dash every 4 days or so before I switched. I would think that mining Dash today would give maybe one Dash a week?

tanx ...

i have researched and spoken to baikal as well - and they refer me to the same thing ...

i CAN read - but i would much prefer real world usage statistics - as i have to base this on the next farm that we build ...

tanx for your help as always mate ...
