One of our team had $1168 in his Vultr account.
He was in extreme need of funds and was looking for a buyer for that account at a huge discount.
Vultr got wind of this and have now cancelled his account and ALL the funds that were in there.

Please consider Rt'ing this

Dear @all work continues on the Beta release.
Apologies for the delay.

We were very close to releasing the beta version yesterday, however there was an issue with blocks propagating through the MasterNode network we had set up.
We believe we have identified that particular issue and are in the process of fixing, re-testing to verify.  Please bear with us.  A huge amount of work is going on behind the scenes.
The code base has been significantly revised.  I'm not a tech head developer, though my understanding is that the code has essentially been modularised & compartmentalised to make it extremely easy and robust to update the different sections of the code, depending on which are the best bits from the other Coin code bases we would like to import.

So, once again, apologies for the delay.
While the beta release is unlikely to be the final release, our wallet dev is extremely thorough, has very high standards and only wants to release the beta when he thinks it is ready.

I had no idea about Altex.

How can we get it listed on coinmarketcap?
There's a request form at the bottom of the page where you can request a new exchange
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monetaryunit/

We will be getting added to coinmarketcap, we are just finishing off some of the api calls need for them inparticular , and we will submit it all to them

Any project updates?
Updates in-coming today Smiley
Apologies, I hate missing my own set deadlines, I am always about "under promise and over deliver".
Give us a few hours please (Can I get away with saying somewhere in the world it is still the "today" I mentioned yesterday???).
We're just doing some final checks on the beta release for public testing prior to the official migration, and should have something in a few hours.
Again, apologies & thanks for your patience.

Staying tuned for some more info Smiley

hi desynct ...

just checked with the miner devs ( on irc ) last night - and the issues involved are way more than the benefit of implementing such protocol in the miner itself ...

the explanation is complex - but the basic version they gave me was simply that it is different - for different coins - and to implement this type of getwork protocol for the various coins would be more work than its worth - and would bloat the miner in a massive way ...

why bitcoin dash and the other coins that copy the code ( in this case - mue as well ) have removed the getwork system within the wallet - is beyond them ... it was far simpler to the way it was - with one daemon and one way of mining solo ...

in any case - im not too fussed - i just wanted to se if it could be done ... and in most cases - with coins like mue that are based on this code - you simply cant mine it solo unless there are workarounds ...

#crysx

yep, but actually nothing's impossible, check GRS

Hi Guys thought I would pop in and share a little about whats going on at AltEx !!

Well trading is starting to pick up on the BTC market https://altex.ws/Market/Trade/?Pair=MUE/BTC

We also have our own versions of Dice https://altex.ws/Games/Dice and satoshi BONES https://altex.ws/Games/BitcoinBones , were if you like to play games of chance you can using MUE!!

We also have a small lottery game called POT of GOLD (at the moment only with BTC enabled, but if you guys would like we can look at adding a MUE version, let us know)

and thirdly we have a faucet section with a MUE faucet paying out 10 MUE to help encourage people to get some trade it or hold it https://altex.ws/Faucets (if anyone would like to donate to the faucet and we can look at increasing the faucet payout let us know as well) , so join trade use the services !!

We also did our first APT profit payout and MUE was one of the coins that generated fees on the exchange so there are people that received MUE as part of there profit payout..

On a side note i remember when MUE was first released and it has gone from strength to strength , supported it then and we will continue to support it !!

AltEx Team
Hi BITDV, great to hear from you, and also great to hear you are part of altex.ws
Hopefully we have some cool things lined up soon with MUE & Altex Wink

MUE users please do find a little time to support Altex.ws and their efforts to "do the right" thing within the crypto community.
There aren't many of us, but it feels like that number of decent people is growing as the bad actors are now being more easily identified & ignored.

Thanks mate , i am one of the owners and we both (me and Paul) support what you guys are doing , i have actually been involved with MUE basically since its conception , i was looking thru my old messages and found this the other day from the original developer of MUE

I always have 1 eye on this thread lol

But at AltEx we are strive to create a vibrant/secure and happy exchange , we will be adding more features and product for all the community and thank everyone for there support and with our first APT payout, people also received MUE as part of there payouts, as all fees from whatever coin that generates them 40% go back to the users on a per APT % rate!!

But back to MUE love the development and at one stage i thought it was going to go the way of a lot of other coins , but you guys banded together and are creating a awesome crypto that you guys can be proud of , and anything to help send me or paul a message and we will see what we can do !!
Thanks bud, I remember you well, as I am also "mue" Wink I "came out" a while back lol
Yep, really happy to have the support of yourself and Paul through this journey, and hopefully lucrative new chapter.

hi all ...

does anyone have any issues mining solo to the new wallet? ...

i am not a newbie here - and have issues with only very few coins in solo ... this is one of them ...

is it an issue with most 'rpcless' style of coins? ...

any help would be appreciated ...

#crysx

no solo, it's not rpcless coin, but gbt-less sgminer (perhaps ccminer as well)

gbt-less miner? ... how so? ...

and yup - it is ccminer ( at least - a fork of ) ...

so how would a fix be made to make this work with these gbt-based coins? ...

#crysx

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12356524

discuss that with your ccminer fork dev, maybe smth has been done since then
looking in main.cpp, mue's gbt version is 114 or even 116 now, i didn't check
