MUE 2.0 is a fork of Phore which is a fork of pivx.

I believe we have inherited this from pivx (which is more inclusive)

Thank you!

This helps me in understanding the staking logic.

Nevertheless it would be great to find something about it in some sort of official MonetaryUnit documentation.
The new MUE wallet is very silent about the staking.
Staking is activated. That is all it tells the user.

Maybe it is usefull to link something like a mue stakingreward calculator.

New users can get a quick overview what they can expect from staking.

Can someone give me hint where i can find information about how the staking weight ist calculated?

Does my amount of time staking or coin age affect my chances of winning rewards?
No, PIVX proof of stake does not give more weight to older coins or clients with longer consecutive uptime.  The only weight you have in staking is your (mature) piv balance.  Think of the block reward each minute like a lottery and each mature piv is a ticket that increases your chances of winning

So when with the MYMUE site be up again? And how does the staking work with this now? Undecided
MyMUE is live and earning you rewards as we speak, it is just not publicly available yet until all back end integrations have been completed.
MyMUE is and will remain a shared MasterNode service, so "staking" is not what the service offers.
The platform operator M P Hosting (pjcltd) may offer stake pools in the future, I don't know, but as soon as MyMUE is live, we'll let everyone know.

Yep, just leave on the exchanges for them to update.
We have notified Bittrex, Upbit, Crypto-bridge, coinexchange & Bittylicious who are the only exchanges that have updated wallets in the past and on which legitimate trading was occurring.
Thanks - that's what I needed

Are there any details about the changes between MUE 1 and 2? Can't find much information about it
MUE 2.0 is a POS 3.0 coin, so we have ditched POW entirely, but retained MasterNodes and reward structure and coin emission.

MonetaryUnit. For Me,yoU,Everybody.
MUE 2.0 is now available.

The source code is available at
https://github.com/muecoin/MUE

With binaries and exe files at
https://github.com/muecoin/MUE/releases/tag/v2.0.2

We draw particular attention to the readme file and the process of redeeming your wallet balances.

https://github.com/muecoin/MUE#importing-wallet-balances-from-mue-103-wallets-into-mue-20-wallets

Please, take your time & be careful in doing this process.
It is not complicated, however, you do risk losing your coins if you do things incorrectly.

We are here as always to provide help & support.

Public explorers, exchanges & external services will gradually come online with the new wallet, so we appreciate your patience as we enter the MUE 2.0 era Smiley

So for mue on an exchange, we just leave it and wait for the exchange to update the wallet - I hope there will be no fork of some using 1.0 and other 2.0

Odds are that you have some balances under one or more change addresses, and that's there your remaining balances are.

That is precisely where the remaining small denominations were, and is reflected on the balances.txt

I'm couple years in, and and still my instinct was that I blew it, missed a fork or a critical update and lost all my *expensive* MUE from last year etc. Thank you so much for taking the time to help. I hope this exchange helps others avoid the same problem with other noobish like myself. Looking forward to MUE 2.0 (3.0?) MANY THANKS

Glad it worked out  Smiley

Hi, I checked my balance on the doc. and it does not match my wallet balance.
Doc. balance shows only my last tx on 08/08/2018
But I have deposits of MUE from 06/2017 (block 2,863 to 170,201)
I've been following on twitter since 2017..
Please tell me if these coins are gone, is there any hope Huh  Thank you
using wallet 1.0.3.2
7phnvDHwUUPtmrk3uGr4r3ZdA5JxNVgv1y

Hard to say what you see or not, the block explorer shows the address you provided to have 1086 MUE from 2018-08-08 04:57:12
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mue/address.dws?7phnvDHwUUPtmrk3uGr4r3ZdA5JxNVgv1y.htm

If you believe your balance is not correct, check any change addresses if you have funds there too.

Thanks 110110101,
I only have one receive address in my qt wallet, and wallet is showing 2,786.70 mue.

About the published document, Yes, the 1068MUE is reflected in the doc, but all the deposits before that are not. Block explorer looks correct, but final balance does not match my wallet.

Did I miss a fork or something last year? thought I was on top of it..

I have a bad feeling about this. Donations welcome Smiley

Any more insight is appreciated, many thanks team

Just open your wallet, and in the "Send" tab, see if you have coin control available, click there and see where you have balances. It doesn't matter what receiving addresses you have in the "Receiving" tab.
Odds are that you have some balances under one or more change addresses, and that's there your remaining balances are.

If the coin control button isn't available, check your wallet settings and under "wallet" check the "Enable coin control features" box.
