The marketcap of Musicoin is simply too small at this point, and running a crowdsale and accepting multiple currencies with a fixed exchange rate is becomes complicated and can be risky (see http://vitalik.ca/general/2017/06/09/sales.html). Given that the crowdsale will not begin until the end of August, we believe this is ample time for participants to plan accordingly.

Any updates for the ICO date?
Due to the recent statement by the SEC we are taking some time to carefully evaluate the MCI token and see where it falls in relation to the Howey Test as well as get the opinions of our legal counsel before proceeding. We expect this process to take no more than a month, and we will release updated crowdsale dates when we have a better feel for the exact completion dates. Thanks for sticking with us, guys and gals!

Yes, the sign up to get in on the Community part of the pre-sale is now closed. However, you can still get in via owning CFI tokens and singing up through their dashboard. We have not started the crowdsale yet, and the current status is 'pushed back a week or two due to market conditions'. We will make sure to be obvious about posting the official date everywhere when it is decided upon.

We are looking for serious participants that will stick with us and grow with us all while having some skin in the game. No pump-and-dumpers who will sell off whatever they get the second the token is tradeable.
