I have 3 payouts from multipool that are not showing on bittrex.  Was it confirmed that Flound updated multipool wallet?  I can't find the transactions in http://nautinsight.buddylabsapps.com based on my bittrex deposit address or the tx's that I got from multipool.

You should never ever have any pool pay out directly to an exchange... it should always go straight to a wallet. But not sure about bittrex.

It's not realistic to try and maintain 20 plus wallets for different coins...

It's not safe to hold coins anywhere but in your own wallet unless your intent is to actively use. In which case you only withdraw the amount in which you intend to use and leave the rest in your wallet. Also pool to exchange stuff has a history of just not working on numerous coins. I personally never risk it.

Okay, he's right, you can use the debug console, but I personally like using the conf file.

Here's how.

Nautiluscoin.conf Locations:

On Windows:
[DriveLetter]:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Nautiluscoin\
[DriveLetter]: Most commonly C

On Mac OSX:
/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Nautiluscoin
If it doesn't exist, it is safe to create one.

Inside the Nautiluscoin.conf you can place this:

Quote
addnode=178.33.39.168
addnode=94.23.29.195
addnode=176.9.63.136
addnode=54.186.223.183
addnode=54.187.101.97
addnode=74.208.230.160
addnode=184.155.218.183
addnode=71.227.74.98
addnode=188.194.8.82
addnode=109.201.154.157
addnode=184.155.218.183

The first three are the ones posted above, the last ones are the old ones, this should also prioritize the nodes as well. According to Bryce this proof of work move is definitely moving NAUT back to the 60 second transaction times :-) which is great.

Cant get my new mac wallet to sync. Can anyone explain the above to a total noob, lots of detail required! What where do I find a conf file? help/debug/window is as far as I got.

I also haven't deleted my old mac wallet. Can I delete it without my coins disappearing?

just don't delete your wallet.dat file. Or back it up first.

downloaded 1.2.0 last night, didnt sync, deleted everything in the roaming file and re downloaded the blockchain and it synced up, today i looked at the wallet and its 3 hours behind, last block processed was 34743.

any reason for this and will a fix be implemented? I dont want to have to re sync the blockchain every day or so.

EDIT: Nvm, just looked at the block explorer and apparently it takes 4 hours per block?? Is that how its supposed to be?

It probably is a pool that hasn't updated yet. But I can't say which one because I don't know. As I stated before. I got in contact with all the pools I was aware of and could find some form of contact information for.

No, block are supposed to be 60seconds. 1.2.0 was supposed to resolve that. I think maybe a large pool is on 1.1.0 or something is forked. Just a guess though.

Where's the hash?

what is a current reward for block?

0.1 NAUT I think.

well that is good i didn't know that part, i got my naut from MP as well (i was looking forward to new MP but this was really disappointing as far as looks and features)  as far as movig them to cryptsy or bitrex they still pending at zero on both exchages i think they did not update wallets yet or something. but withdrawing to wallet worked perfectly fine.

I have to reset my password to log into mintpal every time. They need to fix their security and improve their UI before I send funds there. Their order-book only shows 6 orders without scrolling and there's no total funds/value displayed anymore. It's great to have a working wallet though, that should encourage people to keep their NAUT off exchanges.

I mined nautipool for 24 hours and I'll rent some more hash if the return isn't too bad but it needs more miners. Perhaps a promotion to attract some hash is needed to get the ball rolling or a few of us can get the scrypt pool going. Coinwarz needs updating too and I can't find any pools which show earnings per day.

Edit: 2fa now working fine

W64 wallet not syncing for me and can't see a conf file anywhere.

For me everything works fine, didnt need to create any files. I did download the complete blockchain though, which took 2 minutes. W64 wallet here.

mine was stuck too you can add nodes manually in console no need to create new conf file on windows 64 bit wallet it synced as soon as i added first node

just go to help /debug/console and paste this:

addnode 178.33.39.168 add

and other 2 as well if you want here they are :
addnode 94.23.29.195 add

addnode 176.9.63.136 add

This worked perfectly for the MAC wallet...Should also work for Windowzzzz

For those wondering.  Multipool should pay out soon. I was not given a specific time but payouts are suppose to be happening probably within 24 hours if not sooner.

Also, the config examples on the multipool are fixed.

I'm wonder since I deleted everything besides .dat and reinstalled the 1.2 wallet fresh. I think I opened it once before copying over the .dat backup, so it may have generated a new receive address (?) I'm a noob.

I replaced the .dat file with the backup and then sent some NAUT to the wallet from Cryptsy. Almost 15 minutes and haven't received anything in the wallet. I'm wondering, do I need to import the old private key from my wallet.dat file or something?

Also, the transaction ID per cryptsy cannot be found on the blockchain, though it says it's been confirmed. I'm feeling like I totally noobed something up when I replaced the .dat file.

I did exactly the same, should work. I wouldnt be worried at this point, I had withdrawals on both bittrex and cryptsy that were confirmed but it took a while till they showed up and the txids were nonsense. As long as you have your old wallet.dat you should be fine.

Though others might have actual ideas to help you not just reassuring words.

I don't know. My wallet shows it is still connecting to 1.1.0 nodes and I deleted the peer.dat and used the addnode list a few message above here. My wallet says total blocks in 32784 but the explorer is on like 33753... it looks like we are getting a new block every second at this point. Although, it also looks like the coin gen is only .1 NAUT for each block.

My wallet shows 33800 & I deleted everything except dat and conf files. Those new blocks did worry me for a minute.

Anyone had a payout from nautipool yet?
