Can Polo remove the word NAVAJO from their menu and replace with NAV 2.0

&

I prefer normal name NAV than Nav 2.0
Everywhere is name Nav or Nav coin I dont think try adding numbers like 2.0 on Polo is good idea.
We all know thats Nav its hmm version 2.0 but its not important for normal users. Dont mess in they brains Tongue
Sys coin is still Sys coin even they change it to ver. 2.0 too.
So keep Nav as Nav.

Manual Coin Swap

Dear Nav Community,

Some update on our progress over the last week. The Bittrex Coin Swap went very smoothly. No reported problems from Bittrex, they were happy with how it went and the new block chain appears to be functioning perfectly. In the end we had 47.5 Million coins swapped out of a total of 59 Million! That's a pretty high percentage for the first stage of the swap as we can all agree. We published to as many crypto news sources as we could and we think the word got spread quite well! Thanks for your help spreading the word via social media etc over the last few weeks! We will keep you updated on this figure as the manual swap comes to a close. I would guess that once Poloniex switches over and some of the late comers swap their coins the amount left will be pretty close to the amount we believe is tied up in the dead exchanges.

At this stage we are looking to have the manual swap open for 1 month since we have some delays with Poloniex but we will confirm this. We may even extend it further to make sure no one misses out!

I have modified a version of the old wallet to allow the input of a Nav 2.0 address where we send the new coins to. I have also programmed a NodeJS server to perform the coin swap. This is actually the backbone of what I am porting the anonymous network to use, so this code also counts towards some percentage of the decentralisation work!

Instructions on how to perform the manual swap can be found on our website: http://navcoin.org/upgrade

It's pretty simple, all you need is the latest version of the old Nav Wallet which I've uploaded, a Nav 2.0 wallet address and our swap address which is posted in the instructions.

I don't like to post wallet addresses for official business or direct links in my announcement posts because its easy for someone to quote the post and change it.

Please visit the website for the full instructions!

As for our other projects, we can finally start to move forward again with them. I will resume my weekly updates to keep everyone in the loop!

All the best,
Craig.

47.5 Million coins swapped out of a total of 59 Million!

Leaving 11.1 million to be manually swapped -

The Auto swap occurred around 7th June as above with great success - adding a Month gives us a Deadline of 7th of July

Can we get Polo situation and/or Deadline date announced to the NAV Community would be great.

You can still buy old coins off POLO!  Grin
or the NEW NAV 2.0 coins off Bittrex

We have to assume Cryptsy coins are part of that 11mln (I hope) so basically 6 mln or so unswapped that's pretty good.
(I'm really happy about locking out the Cryptsy coins so their not hanging over our heads ready to drop the second Mr Vern sees fit to dump them.)

They walk among us...
Is it worth the devs offering to do a manual swap for this having problems for people on here? I don't know how much of a pain it is for them?

The original "transfer your coins to Bittrex" swap was flawless for me, but as I am fully retarded  Grin I think i would struggle to do the manual swap.

I must give the devs full credit for such a trouble free bittrex swap but I do understand how some would have missed it. Offering to help this voicing a problem could expedite the last few and then we can move forward?

I've got the problem send the coins out using the windows wallet version 3.5.0

The send function is working fine at the wallet just open.
But after unlock the wallet for staking a while, tried to send the coins to Bittrex, it just no further reaction after the password was key in to confirm the sending. Wallet was still running and staking was working fine.

Does anyone encounter the problem? Or it just my wallet setting problem?

No I have exactly the same problem and i have reported it here.

The workarround is to quit the wallet and restart the wallet and THEN send the coins to Bittrex. No Idea why this happens but the devs are aware of the problem.

Hope this helps.

Sure hoping there isn't any kind of immediate time limit being applied to the coinswap as I'm having issue(s) with my old laptop's HDD.
Definitely going to be alot of attention focused on BTC in the upcoming months given the pre-havling price surge we're experiencing.

depending on how old the laptop is u can probably just pull the HDD and attach it to one of your PC's Sata ports.
If its really old you might need a converter to do that but those shouldn't be to expensive.
U will find out pretty quick if its recoverable or not I don't see why u would need more then a month for something like that u should know in an hour or less.

Ok it's Time to put a Limit on the Swap period. 1 Month is too long. With the BTC so wonderful due to the Referendum over the European Union and Chinese market we have hit a perfect storm.

It's time for us investors including the Development team who hold coins to see the Light.

We are now over  $1000 Australian Dollars for 1 BTC.

I would limit the manual swap time and Decentralise NAV ASAP.
and let all the btc profits roll into nav

Chemal is right. The spotlight will be hogged by BTC for the next 2 months at least.

Besides that, I hate to say it but anonymity, even if perfected will probably not take NAV to the moon either.
Anonymity was the holy grail for crypto in 2014. In 2016 the buzzword is Smart contracts, DAOs etc.

Thats why most new coins launched mention those nowadays. Of course most will fail.
The market is so ridiculously diluted by now. New coins still appear every day and as many die in the same day.

Anyway, I still expect the team to deliver the features promised (even though it takes much longer than we all expected) but it makes me a bit sad to think that NAV will likely remain a minor league coin.
But at least it will be alive

The New coin spawn isn't close to how bad it used to be.

I agree that Smart contracts seems to be the buzzword of 2016 crypto.

That is why I suggested getting involved with open bazaar. give stores and customers the choice to buy public with BTC or anon with NAV.  this will create a demand for NAV

Sounds like a great idea to buy anon with Nav,
