Well, That's Crypto :-\
The name Navajo is perfect.

Question:

Can I just create a new address in wallet and then send all my coins already in the wallet to the newly created address? I'm trying to move up on the rich list but I have different addresses in wallet for each exchange I transfered from.

Does this matter? Do I need to consolidate into a single address to show all coins in wallet to rich list?

thanks

We are the NavajoCoin we are united and the name is staying, I had my doubts in the past, but no more. So I re-read the below statement (STATEMENT from NavajoCoin OP) many many times. Its perfect. I also re-searched there history and legend.  The mission of the Navajo Code talkers was to Encrypt messages for the United States war machine. The NavajoCoin will do the same (Encrypt) and if our community coin can do what the US achieved with the help of the Navajo Code Talkers, we will have more of honored them then anyone else in the Crypto currency world . The US government has approved donations to senators via Bitcoins which is a great step forward for Crypto currency's. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/05/09/us-usa-elections-bitcoin-idUSBREA4801020140509

Now I fully realize the community made the correct decision to name this coin the Navajo Coin.

Source coinssource.com Coins Source’s Outlook Quote - On the surface, Navajocoin remains a brand new anonymous coin. But in the roots of this coin, there lye’s the indistinguishable tarnished past of SummerCoin and SummerCoinV2, which remain a childish example of how crypto-currencies are supposed to act and function. The steps Navajo takes to ensure a complete anonymous network, differs from almost any other anonymous coin to date. But none the less, anonymity-based coins remains a trend which is nearing its end. With a high support, and active developers Navajocoin appears to be on the right track to market stardom. The most unrecognizable flaw could be potentially fatal, this is their rip-off name of the Navajo Indian tribe, which may eventually take legal action if the coin reaches major market appeal. Regarding http://www.coinssource.com/crypto-coins/navajocoin/.

Coinssource.com ultimately your statement is wrong and I think you guys need to re-think your statement. Look deeper into the NavajoCoin whitepaper naming scheme and then related wiki links and ultimately you will find the correct name was chosen for a encrypted Crypto currency coin by a new generation of young people from around the world in 2014 trying to implement a state of the art encryption technology for the future.
We respect the people of the past and it is because of them we have our freedoms today.
Also encryption and anonymity is not a gimmick or trend. Its implementation is current , innovative and evolving and its technology has risen past even what Bitcoin offers today with a market cap of $6 billion.. Its needed now and into the future. Also you failed to mention the coin was resurrected by a new Developer ~soopy~ when the old Developer ran away in the summer coin days . This coin is now administrated by the NavajoCoin Foundation and its entire community controls its destiny and evolution.

STATEMENT from NavajoCoin OP

Source - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-nav-nav-coin-community-fund-live-679791

This coin is a result of the rebranding of SummerCoinv2. You can find all the information on the previous thread that is linked below. We have no affiliation to the Navajo tribe and have neither used nor requested the use of any of the Navajo tribe's cultural symbols . The name comes from the Navajo Code Talkers. They were endorsed for their contribution to encryption, not for their culture.

Navajo Coin is named after the great Navajo code talkers in recognition of their efforts and contributions to encryption as well as the sacrifices made by the Navajo heroes in World War II with the unbreakable Navajo code that was used to encrypt highly classified military information and decrypt the same. Their encryption was undecipherable by their enemies due to the "alien" status of their language in the rest of the world as well as the system they used. Their encryption was a major reason for their victory. Today our enemy is the prying eyes and ears of "Big Brother" as well as those of overly curios brothers and sisters. Our mission is to have the Navajo Double Encryption anonymous system lead us to victory and give us our right of privacy! Navajo Anon is just the beginning!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/slr85zpbw380use/Whitepaper.pdf -"Choctaw 'star' Gate " (CSG) , "Navajo 'magic' Gateway" (NMG)

2.2.3 Navajo Magic Gateway (NMG) & Choctaw Star Gate (CSG)
The NMG and CSG are the most important part of the entire operation
and work in conjunction. They run on an independent subchain and are of
course fully decentralized. The NMG is the decryption mechanism and the
CSG is the gateway back to the main chain.
The NMG receives the encrypted transaction information that only
includes the destination address and the amount, decrypts it, and relays it to
the CSG. The CSG verifies its integrity using a close function technology to
perform a checksum and code signing before broadcasting the final
transaction on to the main chain; sending the coins to its recipient address.

We the NavajoCoin community are united and wishes for you to remove the statement or to report on our valid response regarding our Name NavajoCoin and that ultimately we are honoring the Navajo Code Talkers - Thanks

NAV Coin [NAV]
Don't change the name. NAVAJO is perfect name!
And "NAVAJO" is not a Trade Mark it is just a name of the Indian tribe. They can not do anything. It's like a NewYorkcoin and others. It's a public name and it can be used!

Yes, I think You're right, I have a similar opinion to Yours on that bro Wink

Yes pakage means that tor project. But please do not think NAV is using TOR! It is not!

Hello everyone, please rest assured that we are tirelessly working on this coin's development.

I was literally up till 5am on a work night finishing the beta client for release, so I hope you can understand that I have taken couple days rest after the beta launch.

Despite that, last night after I got home from my day job, I completed one of the node scripts of the anon network and we will begin our internal testing on that part shortly. One step closer.

While we are testing that, I am going to resume work on the client and fix the bugs we've found while also implementing some new features.

We will make a proper update about this next stage of the client in the coming days once we figure out a realistic timeframe for this.

I hope our current streak of constant updates and timely deliveries is keeping your confidence up that we will deliver the finished anon product as soon as possible.

All the best,
pakage

Hi,

I totally forgot it yesterday, but i have just send you 20.000 nav for your hard work and effort! I know it wont make you a millionaire but if nav will go up over time this amount of coins can have some nice value! And its just to show you my appreciation.

And if others also donate you get even richer Smiley

Can you explain a bit more about the node script. I will reread the anon whitepaper today to avoid other dumb questions, but what is a "node" and what does the script do and for what purpose?

cheers

Robin

I have received your kind donation. Thank you very much!

node
noun technical
1. a point in a network or diagram at which lines or pathways intersect or branch.
"the intersections of two or more such arteries would clearly become major nodes of traffic and urban activity"

The idea of the Navajo Anon Network is similar in architecture to the Tor Project for anonymous internet browsing.

It's not a very simple subject, but i will try to lay it out in somewhat basic terms as I understand the whitepaper. This is how I would explain the chain of events in a typical transaction;

I send an anonymous transaction from my wallet. The data which i send is encrypted by the wallet so it can't be openly viewed as it travels. The encrypted transaction gets sent to a random node which acts like a gateway into the anonymous network. The node processes the transaction it received and writes it to the navajo block chain. The node then transfers the transaction to the sub-block-chain which is a private and encrypted block chain which exists only inside the anon network. The transaction is forwarded to another random node inside the anon network which then commits the transaction back to the navajocoin block chain, encrypts the transaction and sends it to its final destination.

The strength of this method are:

1. Encrypted communication is very hard to decode, depending on the method it could take a super computer years to figure out the contents of a single transaction.
2. Random entry and exit points of the anon network make it virtually impossible to track the origin and destination of a transaction with meta data surveillance.
3. Using encrypted subchains means that the paper trail between origin and destination is physically broken. So, even if you had meta data showing that 300 NAV was sent by someone and that same amount was received by another person, you couldn't actually prove that it was the same transaction without access to the subchain transaction record which is not publicly available.

That's what I understand anyway. Soopy is the one who authored the whitepaper and most of the code, so he can correct me on some points I'm sure. I'm mainly just programming the website and some wallet features.

I hope that helps to explain it a bit further.

Hay Soopy brother good to see you on the forum.

Questions

1. We good with Navajocoin name despite coinsource.com predictions

2. have you needed to create new math formulas or new codeing  to create the subchains , NMG and choctaw star gate
where did the name come from for the choctaw star gate. I dont want you to reveal any code or formulas here just a generic answer

Thanks

~hashforce101~

NavajoCoin 2 Da Moon
I would forget about the critics for now, at least the name attracts attention, this is what we really want. The name itself is a good marketing strategy that catches attention.

I VOTE FOR NO NAME CHANGE

Agree . The cost would be to great as well. Re-register a new webite , re-design etc etc . Maybe some time in the future when we are running full steam ahead. I'm happy now

Now lets bring this Anon and shot it 2 Da Moon. Have an awesome weekend
