Also interesting is their conclusion:
Where things stand
As mentioned above, the Jango team is still working to solve the consumer fraud issues. If they’re successful, then Jango still hopes to deliver over 1 million non-fraudulent users over the next year. If that effort succeeds, then the NeuCoin team will attempt to add other distribution partners as well as forge partnerships with companies that will want to offer ways for the million+ NeuCoin holders to use their NeuCoins. We still think this could work.
(...)
All that said, we haven’t given up hope and are still trying to bring about a positive outcome in the long run.http://blog.neucoin.org/post/145353414181/neucoin-project-update-acknowledging-some-majorThe interesting part is this:
They say "if....successful" they still hope for > 1 Mio (non-fradulent) users over the next year! And again they say "if.....", they will attempt to add other distribution partners etc.
What they basically say here is that they won't do much before "next year" and before there is a huge user growth.
1. Where should it come from? Will there be less supply, staked by the team behind?
2. Do they promise to hard work on the general quality and the tech?
3. Do they really believe there will be user growth if they just wait for next year?
4. What do they believe how the market reacts if they say that there won't be much progress until next year?
@Neucoin-Community: Let me translate for you what they say... It's a goodbye. They try to say that they are still there, "working" on Neucoin, giving the impression that there is still hope in "the long run", but in fact they know that there won't be the 1 Mio user next year and they don't say what they will do ......"if.....not".
They hope that they will have their peace until next year and that nobody will care anymore next year. And they are right with that.
Just btw.: That they would leave in silence was also predicted (from last October):
So, the big question is: What will they do. And for now it looks like, that they'll do maybe some little moves to let it seem they're still on track and working with confidence, but in the end I believe, they'll leave in silence - if possible. The biggest mistake they've made is: They made time to an enemy.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12741782Their luck is: The Neucoin-Community is that small, only a few guys, that they will be successful at least in one thing: Abandoning the project without much questions to answer.
