If something is too good to be true, make sure they prove it before buying.

NeuCoin also announced that it has closed $2.25 million of initial funding. Strategic angels include the co-founder of King (Candy Crush Saga), head of growth at Facebook, SVP of business at Uber, President of Hotwire, and dozens of other tech and media founders and executives. Strategic advisors include Alex Norstrom, VP of growth for Spotify; Jackson Palmer, creator of Dogecoin; and Brock Pierce, serial entrepreneur and Bitcoin Foundation board member.

Someone please show me proof of this.

I don't believe this at all. It doesn't make sense.

I Just looked at this shit coins for the first time today and I can figure out why price is dropping... Even at today's all time low value on BITTREX, the marketcap is at $10,000,000 USD!

The investors only put in 2.25 million so that's almost a 400% return still. Immediately after launch this coin was valued at $30,000,000 USD which is an insane 1300% return immediately! OMG. So lucky to be those early investors.

Anyways, the price needs to come down another 99% from where it is today so that we can get a proper valuation of like maybe $50,000 USD.

Is there even any proof any of those angel investors even bought into this? This coin could just be a straight up lie.

Onecoin and NoKoin cited in the same breath. Grin

During the past year, so a lot of banks created their own altcoins, which they call "block chain" or "distributed ledger". It has invested venture capital in some copies (a Swedish brain death such called Neucoin and deceived investors several million).

Eftersom ämnet är så svårt att fatta kommer kopiorna att fortsätta skapas och fler luras av illusionen av guld och gröna skogar – även "vanligt folk" som i fall som Onecoin och Neucoin – och kanske också fler riskkapitalister.

Because the substance is so difficult to make the copies will continue to be created and more fooled by the illusion of gold and green forests - even "ordinary people" in case Onecoin and Neucoin - and perhaps more venture capitalists.

How could I miss this?

Holy cow, the regime is cashing out, but with no buy support it doesn't work without crashing the price.
Great work Dan and what a great lie excuse: there was a bug for a couple of hours that only affected the Neucon Foundation account, and the hacker only stole 30M and cashed them out - how lucky that he didn't touch the remaining gazillions. Priceless shit mate!

PS: Where is the distribution report?!

Really nokoin?  You mean to tell me your little ponzi scheme
fell apart as all ponzi schemes do?  What a shocker.

We can only speculate as to why NeuCoin received less support than a hundred other altcoins

Also interesting is their conclusion:

Where things stand

As mentioned above, the Jango team is still working to solve the consumer fraud issues. If they’re successful, then Jango still hopes to deliver over 1 million non-fraudulent users over the next year. If that effort succeeds, then the NeuCoin team will attempt to add other distribution partners as well as forge partnerships with companies that will want to offer ways for the million+ NeuCoin holders to use their NeuCoins. We still think this could work.

(...)

All that said, we haven’t given up hope and are still trying to bring about a positive outcome in the long run.

http://blog.neucoin.org/post/145353414181/neucoin-project-update-acknowledging-some-major

The interesting part is this:

They say "if....successful" they still hope for > 1 Mio (non-fradulent) users over the next year! And again they say "if.....", they will attempt to add other distribution partners etc.

What they basically say here is that they won't do much before "next year" and before there is a huge user growth.

1. Where should it come from? Will there be less supply, staked by the team behind?
2. Do they promise to hard work on the general quality and the tech?
3. Do they really believe there will be user growth if they just wait for next year?
4. What do they believe how the market reacts if they say that there won't be much progress until next year?

@Neucoin-Community: Let me translate for you what they say... It's a goodbye. They try to say that they are still there, "working" on Neucoin, giving the impression that there is still hope in "the long run", but in fact they know that there won't be the 1 Mio user next year and they don't say what they will do ......"if.....not".

They hope that they will have their peace until next year and that nobody will care anymore next year. And they are right with that.

Just btw.: That they would leave in silence was also predicted (from last October):

So, the big question is: What will they do. And for now it looks like, that they'll do maybe some little moves to let it seem they're still on track and working with confidence, but in the end I believe, they'll leave in silence - if possible. The biggest mistake they've made is: They made time to an enemy.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12741782

Their luck is: The Neucoin-Community is that small, only a few guys, that they will be successful at least in one thing: Abandoning the project without much questions to answer.

Interesting Blogpost:

NeuCoin Project update: acknowledging some major headwinds
http://blog.neucoin.org/post/145353414181/neucoin-project-update-acknowledging-some-major

The funny part is: They seem surprised, but it all was predicted.

Example, about their "fraud-issue":

But you have to expect that all those Coins they distribute (however they would do that) will reach some day the exchanges. Let's say they tip it over Facebook... it would be only a question of time somebody makes a business-model out of it to collect some of it and dump it. If they would distribute only 50 Mio and somebody would find a way to collect just 5 Mio and dump it, the price would crash. 5 Mio at the current price = 175 BTC.

(...)

It's a trap for all. And it's paradox but true: It's also a trap for them... because they won't be able to handle that. Even in best-case and without thinking about lack of trust, lack of professionality, possible fraud or hacks. There is no scenario to handle the inflation.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12589929

In fact, all problems they have to face were predicted and not just from one person. They really should ask themselves what they believed what would happen. Kind of funny is this part (from the blog-post):

"We can only speculate as to why NeuCoin received less support than a hundred other altcoins, but perhaps the wider crypto-community simply could not support or even countenance a consumer-oriented cryptocurrency project led by industry outsiders that put marketing ahead of technology."

Really, that's so surprising? The Crypto-Community has some focus on the tech and not only marketing? And it's really surprising that nobody wants to pay real money to make rich just those who are behind this, while they stake millions every day and plan to distribute huge amounts  for free to dumpers?

Or this:

"In hindsight, misreading the psychology of the crypto-community may have been the NeuCoin team’s single biggest mistake."

The single biggest mistake is the economical design with the monster-inflation, so they don't know what to do with all the coins... It was very naive not to anticipate what is reality now, but to believe people would give money for it and drive the price up to make the owners rich.

The Neucoin-Community should face the fact that they believed in a project that is lead by people without ANY capability and competence to deliver what they've promised. And it never was rocket-science to see that. It always was obvious in the design, even before it became obvious that there is also a total lack regarding the tech.
