So, it seems my son must have been messing about on my computer... again... because a fresh download of the wallet repaired my issue...

Have yet to try on the Windows 10 machine.

Also, noticed that the link for AIO wallet download on OP is not working. Will update that shortly with a new one. As well as include the newest blockchain sync'd with it.

Will update when I figure out my Windows10 issue (if one exists there) lol.

I am the signed message, without I am not
Not sure if anyone else is getting the issues I am, but they're ones that never happened previously...

For whatever reason, I can't get the wallet to run correctly. Either on Windows 8.1 or 10, but the 10 machine never worked. Neither direct java or the local wallet inside the GUI (which has never been a problem for me before...)

I haven't put much time into diagnosing it, but it is an issue that I haven't had before. So I find it very strange. If anyone has a general idea let me know please.

The run or autodetect run batch files won't launch, as if java isn't setup correctly. Got the GUI local to work yesterday then stopped working again randomly...

We really need to nip any issues like this immediately so that we can make sure everything we have works perfectly. I don't like the fact that I'm hitting this kind of issue randomly, wondering if anyone else is getting this...

Then, tonight, the online wallet is giving me crap too... so I'm basically not able to launch the wallet whatsoever. This should never happen...

I am posting this publicly so that people see it and know that if they're having issues, it isn't just them, and I'm aware of it, and I will figure out the cause and come to a solution.

thanks!
I have no problems running the local wallet on both OS X and Windows 10, the Windows 10 version start from the .bat file and OS X from .sh. I'm not using the qui wallet, because i need the wallet to run 24/7 to have up to date version of the blockchain handy. I use both often to Vector and Margin.
I can confirm that both works. I'm currently using the newest version of Java.

Still very new to this, so quite exciting to watch the countdown on my first Block.  Grin

So this may be a silly question or it may not? I have been plotting away using the link from the Burst Wallet Clint v0.2 which sets wplotgenerator going with plots being generated based on the drive letter. It struck me that if everyone does this do we all end up with plots that will give the same results on a Block and it would be better to choose other random starting points for plots? Or does the fact that your address is included in the hash mean that they are already different and random and one plot is as good as another?

Hope this makes sense?

Rich

You got it yourself. It's important that your plots don't overlap for your own mining address.

Guys - after the fuck up with the marketing stuff previously perhaps look at trying to get an article about AT ACCT published via this: http://cointelegraph.com/news/cointelegraph-aspiring-authors-and-bloggers

Also please give @vbcs your support - I have provided him with a new design for AT ACCT that will kick ass but he isn't feeling very loved at the moment (so the work just isn't happening).

You should also keep in mind that Qora is your partner in AT and that the two projects should be trying to help each other (not trying to create any controversy - people can decide which platform they prefer - but if people work together it will benefit all of the platforms).

First we should implement it nicely before marketing it right? Vbcs is accepting donations but I think we get more dynamic support here if we make a Crowdfund for him using AT of Burst.

I propose a crowdfund of 5 Million in 2 weeks to get things going finally.

Here is vbcs' address: BURST-NUFU-7PX7-KHVM-7EMNC

I still can't manage to get my local wallet running. What's with java errors?

What operating system?

and what wallet?

if you cut&paste whatever errors are displayed when you try to start it, we'll help you get running in no time.

the last few from ByteEnt payout seemed a little off to me...

2/7/2016 06:51:30  55'530 + 1 BURST-ACGB-YGHQ-G9ZL-5XD7U /
2/7/2016 06:51:30  25'068.71 + 1 BURST-J8HZ-99WH-5B3G-BCRMF /
2/7/2016 06:51:29  123'400 + 1 You /
2/7/2016 06:51:29  154'250 + 1 BURST-WKTT-6SP6-NNFD-6F7MW /

oops... so I'll wait for it to clear, then redistribute, however, this time, I think I'll make sure to not pay the asset issuing account xD

@Crowetic

Forum is down : https://burstforum.com/

unfortunately I have no control over that domain or the site... however, we've setup a new BURST forum at the domain that I do control... forum.burstcoin.info

it is sad to see BURSTforum in such a state, but there isn't much that I can do right now about it. Some people who used to be very active seem to have disappeared, which is why we're kicking things into refresh mode, and getting new people into areas and keeping the loyal (long time and still active community members I mean) ones in more solid positions.

I have a miner on ninja that  is not paying out. Is there anything I can do about this or who should I contact?

Thanks  Rich

Crowetic would be the guy...however I'm sure it is paying out. Likely you haven't reached the minimum payout amount yet.

It is sitting at 771D+0 which I thought was ok. Will PM Crowetic

Rich

Could very well be it was just the perfect time when the server had an issue, and the coins remained in deferred for an extended period, after reviewing miners currently, I don't see one with anything above the minimum payout that hasn't been paid.

Speaking of payouts, ByteEnt payouts should be figured out shortly, having a few logistical problems, but the total payout this month will be over 608k BURST. Smiley

Is Ninja down or am I doing something wrong?

@Lenore - I've immersed myself in the DMD community a bit too, to see about some sort of working together there as well, but QORA should be a no brainer. They're basically our cousin.

Very true.  I plan on doing a bunch of reading to day about QORA and see what I can find out.  Hoping we can get the Burst community to explode.  That would be awesome.

Rich

sorry about that, it usually doesn't have an issue, the host i think is doing maintenance, but I restarted the server hopefully it'll stay up at least until haitch can take a look.

But I'm not jk about sleep, I'll see ya'll tomorrow.

Hey Man, good to see you around! Absolutely, I'll see what I can do about writing something to them (unless anyone has an objection to be doing so? I feel I'm a fairly decent writer...)

I fully agree with you that working together will benefit everyone, and I'm always an advocate for it. Thank you for your tireless work! If you post a few donation addresses, I can give you some BURST, and pretty soon, some BTC, and I can also give you some of my ByteEnt asset that pays monthly, so you can get a partial salary of sorts for everything you're doing for BURST! (and others, namely QORA)

Wonder if I could go into QORA thread and get some people interested in coming to our community as well, and vice-versa. I very much enjoy a good partnership/team.

Once again, good seeing you, and hope to see ya more often!

I would be willing to partner up or share a little.  Never know where it may go.  Give Burst more spotlight and also may give it more of a reason.  Not that it doesnt have one but could be a good thing.
