ok you have my interest. heck, give me enough NEX and I can run an entire ARMY of hallmarked public nodes. LOL although id REALLY suggest that if you do manage to create a genesis block loaded with NEX to distribute out, that you may want to use different ports other than 7874/7875

Well, that would be pretty cool wouldn't it be! It technically is possible.
But this is more an experiment of what would happen if you gave away Nxt for free.
BCNext already did this (he gave people a windfall gain for nothing) and we have the results. People got pissed off for a while and moved on. Some people took longer, and tried to make up parody coins.
You're caught in a Dr Who episode. In a few months time a guy is going to come along and start a crusade against NEX because he missed out, and he's going to start TeXMeX, and give that coin away for blow jobs.
Then T-ReX comes along and gets pissed off at TeXMeX and so he'll start .....
If you're aunty had balls she'd be your uncle.
If Frictionless had bought into NXT genesis block he'd be happy.
