OK, that's fine since you only have to use #xnsub when directly connecting to our stratums. However the proxy should not disconnect the miner on each extranonce/pool change - this is what  [enableExtranonceSubscribe" : true] setting is for in the proxy configuration ... you should report this bug in the proxy thread (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/new-stratumgetwork-proxy-with-web-based-gui-and-pools-management-611338).

When extranonce is enabled between the worker and the proxy itself, the S5 hashrate drops for ~20% at even slightly greater pool difficulty. That was the problem I've described initially. With extranonce worker-proxy subscription the proxy doesn't disconnect the worker, it's able to rebind the existing worker connection to another pool, but the hashrate suffers.

It's exactly what I'm using. Smiley
It "talks" extranonce with the stratum server normally, but to solve the hashrate problems I had to remove '#xnsub' in the S5 pool configuration that targets the proxy.

I think I've solved it! My S5 was connected to a local stratum proxy with #xnsub in the URL. I simply removed it and things got MUCH better instantly. Now the stratum proxy disconnects the S5 on each extranonce/pool change, but the hash rate is as it should be. Smiley

If you're using stratum proxy you should consider using newer stratum proxy with extranonce support, see "Stratum-Proxy guide" here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=asic

I have a slow internet. tonight I upload an image and send you the link. Okay?
Hi Cheesy Ok but maybe someone already done this?
I can not find this on the net (((
Ok, will wait for image file.
Looks like this is not so hard to compile on raspberri pi itself.

Hello. Prompt please. I want to connect to your pools here are Asik:  LKETC DRAGON MINER BITCOIN ASIC 1TH/S SHA-256
http://titanminer.com/?product=dragon-miner-bitcoin-asic-1ths-sha-256-lket

Where can I find software that supports extranonce.subscribe

DRAGON MINER is using cgminer and the controller is embedded raspberry-pie. We don't have any newer cgminer with extranonce.subscribe for this particular device, but you could contact the manufacturer (or distributors) of DRAGON MINER to make new cgminer binary with extranonce.subscribe patch (https://github.com/nicehash/cgminer-ckolivas/commit/4e9c7ce68ed91ec9189d83c35b2237aca65f2b7f), then you can upload new cgminer via SSH to  embedded raspberry-pie controller ... maybe you could also ask some programmers (bitcointalk user smit1237) if they can provide such newer cgminer binary for this miner.

Hello, NiceHashSupport!

It seems to me your sha256 stratum server pushes the difficulty too high. I've made some tests with my S5, and it performs the best with the diff ~ 2048, but your stratum server always pushes it to 4096 and chokes the S5 to below 1 Th/s average. Tests on other pools with the fixed diff 2048 yield much steadier and nicer results, close to 1.2 Th/s.

Am I missing something here, or could you please keep the difficulty at around worker's hashrate in Gh/s * 1.8 - 2?

Thank you! Smiley

This is not a diff problem, but specific S5 problem, that has been reported multiple times. We suggest you to push this matter to Bitmain so they fix their software.

Tested with both the newest official S5 firmware and Smit1237's mod - the results are exactly the same.

Hooray! Smiley

toptekk, So we need to port driver from cgminer to bfgminer that's all. For skilled programmer i think there is no problem to do that. At least bitmain uses linux, and cgminer, look at the silverfish 28 mh/s blade for scrypt,  hardware is cool, software is awful, no cgminer/bfgminer at all!

I'm about to buy two of those have been looking , it does. ebay has some for sell at a nice price and very little power use age, i just hope in month once, i have the cash to gather i can still get one at least if not  two .
If you talking about silverfish, stay away from them, awful software, no support at all. Better look at gridseed g-blade, maybe this is not the best option, but at least it support opensource software.

any idea how loud the SF is , ty i may not now . just don't want to pay 800 for A2 at about the same speed there is one on ebay for like 500 but the shipping kills that deal 200 us to ship the A2, Ive had a few of G-blades or Zeus version there to load for me with no real way to silence them safely and stay cool sense i wont really oc it.. guess i just wait and save and keep watching the prices on A2 or even the  titan but there question able to . I want to mine both coins Smiley.

TY for the tip on the SF miner.
