Just returned after visiting demo page to get some handful information. Web node being developed by Oyster is amazing even on demo page continue add free and deny consent can be watched of which detailed has been provided separately in the weekly development article. It is always nice to see people talking more on technical aspects more when project is going through development.

He convinced me to participate. So before ICO I read the whitepaper and became really enthousiastic. Spelled every letter in the white paper and the light paper! Totally convinced this will result in a tremendous and insane good product / project!

On my workstation it works like a dream
I even played PUBG and Fortnite without noticing maybe 1-2 less FPS
I guess I should know this, but will the earnings for the website increase if all the computers viewing the site is in the higher end of the spectrum?

Sometimes the brokers are very congested, mostly because people keep re initiating sessions because they think it froze. There a fair chance that you were trying during these time periods

Want me to let it open for a hour 4 testing purpose?
My desktop has a i7 3770k / my MacBook has a Intel Core I7 and my cellphone is a ZenFone 5.
I'll charge my cellphone up to 100% and let it open for exactly one hour to see the difference.

Yeah too much text in the consent box. And with how much space the box occupies, it looks as intrusive as an ad itself. Also, "Oyster Protocol" sounds kind of cheesy IMO. You can just leave it at "Oyster"

the average person who consents to cookies doesn't actually think physical, edible cookies help power their web experience. Nor should they think that bivalves are being harvested from the sea to erase away their ads
so i don't think "Oyster" should be any more confusing than "Oyster Protocol"
just my opinion though...

Yes, as also with a Dropbox like wrapper, managing your downloads and uploads - making them cost efficient, while also managing all of your files with one masterhandle.
This means we are looking at a very bright future. If the concept is presented more clearly in marketing it would attract many users

The biggest thing is that most other mining coins are based on PoW for verifying transactions on the blockchain. The PoW is heavy because it needs to be for security. IOTA PoW is light because it's not worried about double spends. The iota PoW is about preventing someon from giving their own branch enough weight to write its own transactions.
Mining monero via coinhive is not only resource intensive but it's also in competition with legit mining pools

Hello all, coinmarketcap started separating exchanges by the "adjusted volume" and "reported volume"! You can check if the new PRL exchanges are worth something or not!
Trading volume is really low and not good for trading or exchanging. The value of the PRL has fallen sharply since the launch of the mainnet. I still find that the PRL team is actively developing the source code. Hopefully the PRL will come back soon.
5-6 BTC is not so low at this time. Very hard time for the market. But, unfortunately, I do not believe PRL will hit 4$ in the future.

Such projects with working products are always undervalued at some point until the major populace comes to realize how far the development of the project has gone. The problem is that a lot of people are now focused on the top 100 coins in coinmarketcap when the chips are down like we see in market of late. I think another thing the team is still missing is a better exchange listing. They have done very good on the technical development and I think its imperative now to have the project listed in a bigger exchange to accrue volume. Price and trading is still an essential part of crypto and the gas that keeps the fire burning

It really depends on how sharding is implemented and how we continue to manage our own tangle. Since we have webnodes and hopefully iota has implemented autonomic snapshots, you could snapshot information off because webnodes will be reattaching. It's worth it to note, we don't pay brokers for storage. We pay them for PoW and burying PRL in the data map. So people might very well wipe their hdd or sdd from time to time. This might be seen as bad but I see it as more organic and similar to the way data is stored on the tangle, temporary.

But the issue really pops up because people are impatient and just keep reuploading, because they think their session is bugged. Which of course just makes the problem worse
People keep overloading the brokers by sending and then closing, just to try to resend again

PRL is undervalued this is best investment with working platform I used this to send some pics and files. It working smoothly and when it will move to normal state than we will see demand will increase for sure. Dev made very nice progress and they are still improving the performance to make it best product.

I like more and more people have started to raise technical related questions and discussion which is lot more healthier than keep focusing only on speculation. I will say development is a permanent process which covers maintenance, improvements and marketing so according to the needs of that time's market there will be changes in those areas. It is in its early stages and we are early investors.
Precisely, I very much hope that people began to realize the technical value of this project. People, wait for the project to be implemented according to the road map and then discuss the price.

The aim is having the protocol be usable. I'm sure the executives have an idea on where the upload limits need to be before the platform is market ready. Even after going to market the team will continue to improve the platform. Though once we meet a state of diminishing returns, optimization might become second string to other features like wrappers, etc. It's also important to note that the dev team doesn't work on only one key aspect at a time. We have devs that are focused on front end, back end, eth, and iota.
