I have 2 rigs , so can i mine to 1 wallet or i must use 2 wallet for every rig ?

you can mine to 1 wallet

set 127.0.0.1 for first rig and youriplocalwalletfirstrig for second rig for example : 192.168.0.12
you will see "Wallet name" It must be the same

Thanks ! This working well. One more question - how can i run 6 gpu to 1 instance or i must use 6 instance and every name must be gpu0 ... gpu1 ... gpu2. Whats happening if i rename every name to RIG1

yes you can run one more one gpu on the same instance with -d 0,1,2,3 etc in your batch

There is something wrong with trading volume in coinmarketcap.com. It seems the price is also not being updated properly.

~snip~
It says updated 10 hours ago.. the data is old.

BR,
Sephiroth
Lol Thanks Sephiroth. It's like I said, it's not being updated properly. We can contact the support, but this will probably be resolved soon.

Sure, I wouldn't worry about it.

To find the amount of time it takes to find a block is as follows.

Basically the target is 12 zeros in hex so 16^12= 281474976710656 hashes

However like the dev meantioned earlier regarding the -t

The first 2 digits represent in hex the target in bits. So currently its 2FXXXXXX so 2F is 47 bits. Hence 47 bits of leading zeros. However since its 2F8XXXX its somewhere in between the 2 numbers.

Hence 140737488355328 to 281474976710656 hashes so its either one or the other.

Using 281474976710656 hashes it would take around 78 Hours to find a block based on 1GH/s.

So with 3 GH/s you should find 1 block within 24 hours.
With 6 GH/s you should find 2 blocks within 24 hours.

However with solo mining the varience can be crazy high and you might not find anything for a few days or you can find a dozen blocks within a few hours.

Really would help with a pool.

So I'm reading here (nice guide ahum) that you need to mine a block (or get/buy one from someone else) to get a wallet, seems legit.
Why I'm running this node/wallet/thing? it's not self explaining either.
Polo killed PASC imo.

1070, should be much higher based on amd result
Yes, that beast should hash much faster than 250. Sorry, there is nothing I can help with, for now. Soon miner authors will release their versions with optimizations. I've seen Wolf0 in slack already Smiley
As far as I understand, hashing algo of Pascal is very simple (in terms of mining) with all optimizations already known.

nvidia is only doing 250MH with the cuda miner why? not optimized at all it seems
What card? On AMD, I get about 500MH per RX470 and about 450 on old 7970. But it really varies. I have several rigs where my 7970 babies give 250 instead of 450 (with same CPU, drivers, etc), and nothing I can do about that. Just early stages of young coin becoming popular Smiley no calculators, pools, optimizations... wild west. I like it, btw. )

Just a pump and dump coin loke Zcash, dont bother yourself with this.
Don't you dare blaming ZCash here. ZCash will grow and mature, becoming one of the strongest anonymous cryptos, especially when paired with ETH in Alchemy project.
Pascal is a very interesting concept with SafeBox and accounts, unique in its own way. I truly regret that I missed this ANN while setting up and maintaining my farm last months.

Which miner performs better? volksholk or this pascalcoinminer? I cannot manage to overcome (-0xc00007b-application-unable-start-correctly) error on windows 7 to test volksholk.
I cannot say how volksholk performs since I've tried on one rig only. It works, but requires some manual setup and on some systems it just cannot start, and there are only few ways to troubleshoot: run in win 7 (or win7 compatibility mode) | run as admin | test different drivers.
With pascalcoinminer v0.2 I have been mining for almost 15 hours, 40+GH total speed, only 2 blocks found. Whether network difficulty is VERY-VERY high or this miner performs awfully on multiple rigs with multiple (4-6) GPUs, all rigs connected to one single wallet. I expected to find at least 20 blocks by now, which is not the case... we definitely need some calculators and/or pools.

I finally have one of my rigs mining but whats the chance of hitting a block now
Looks like only adaseb in this thread knows the magic how to calc that chance, but he does not want to share it with us. I asked three times. May be it is obvious for everyone here, but I just don't get it.
-
First, somehow he gets a strange number from current target ("right now the target is 000000000000A"), which does NOT corresponds to current target's first bytes, or I convert it the wrong way... so I don't know how to get that number and where to start.
Update: tried another miner (Volksholk) and finally found where that number come from. It's "target_pow" in the proxy window.
-
Second, again, "somehow" he converts those zeroes to a number of hashes needed to find the block ("so 281474976710656 hashes to find a block").
-
And third is easy: divide that hashes number by your hashrate to know how many seconds (approximately) you'll need to find a block.

Practical example of current situation: I'm running a small GPU farm, have about 40+GH on Pascal, and got only two blocks in last 12 hours.
May be something's wrong with v0.2 miner, I don't know. May be I should have tried Vorksholk's miner... but setting up one command line window per each GPU when you have 100 of them is kind of nightmare Smiley

how many block it takes before a mined block matures? or spendable? anyone?
Don't know about blocks, but it is many hours. Minimum that I got was 4, but it could take 6 or more.

------

By the way, congratulations to all early adopters, believers, miners and holders of this coin. You are rich now.
