Please, use proper English.

Nightraven does.

Thanks! But I'm sorry to disagree with you tlaskows. English is a very difficult language, so I think it is okay to make mistakes and use Google Translator etc.

As a Lingua Franca English is being used by a lot of non-native speakers with other non-native speakers. We don't need a proper English. We just need to understand one another. Personally I love all the not so proper English spoken in places like the Asian countries.

Emoji talk is the best way to communicate.  It uses visuals.

I cannot desipher what few for 3$ is.

I exchanged many when PASC was ~1$.

By many, I mean over 9000.

This is not the grammar police forum.

Still, some of the posts make me wonder what they had for breakfast.

I have bought a few PASC for 3 $ and have been around for a few weeks on the stock exchange. Thanks for the instructions now I am again motivated to transfer to the wallet.

Unfortunately I have no merits at the moment to express my thanks!

Merits?

PASC has been listed since early 2017.  That's over a year it has been available to trade.

Please, use proper English.

Nightraven does.

Can someone explain to me where to input my password in the PascalCoin wallet?  When I try to do a new operation it says wallet is password protected. Need password but there is no where to input the password.  There is the password button but nothing happens when I click on it and there is no input box.   Thanks.

Stange! Because you should get an input box when you click on the password button. Try to restart the wallet and try again. You can also enter the password through menu Project -> Private Keys -> Input password button

Good luck

PS.: Here is a good manual https://www.pascwallet.com/Content/PascalCoin%20-%20A%20Comprehensive%20Guide%20for%20Noobs.pdf

i want to buy a small amount but its a shame that its just listed in polo. i dont trust polo to many bad feedback in forums.
cryptopia is buggy yes but it would not cost so much to list pascal there

It has been answered many times.  It does cost a lot to get it listed on a major exchange that will not disappear overnight.

It was delisted and MIA from cryptopia a long time ago.

Crptopia has many bad reviews.  I mined many coins there that are worth nothing now.

I have 7000 PASC for sale that I mined to 'my local' wallet (I had to mine my PASA too, you see where this is going...)

Skip the exchange.  You can't buy from them.  You trade.

If you are trading a lot of FIAT to a number on a computer somewhere, then you are smart.

22$ per piece.

BTW.  polo works fine.  I withdrew 3 PASC that I had lingering there from few months back.

The fact that you received coins which have to long ago beat to be at you it does not mean yet probably the exchange works well now. Just you were a little lucky more than the rest. I see every day and I read many responses that the exchange still badly works. And at many coins there at the exchange still got stuck.

I said it works now.

Yes, there were issues in the past.

I still have a many PASC that are in fact stuck since Nov 7th.

Many others are in the same situation.

Have to wait.

If you login to polo support, there's a notice that they are flooded with tickets and deal with them one by one.

There are always risks involved when dealing with exchanges.  Note, I was mining to local wallet for that reason.

It will never work 100%.

i give polo a try then. now the wallet 2.1.9 on ubuntu linux doesnt work.it dont update blockchain and is crashing 1min after.

Skybuck has me on ignore.  She got upset over some tiny ordeal.  Not an official forum.  I wouldn't go there.

Linux wallet 2.1.9 works fine.

I synced it from scratch (the whole blockchain) on a new computer.  2 days ago, I think.

Does not crash at all.

it takes > 1 hour to restore the whole blockchain (including downloading all required files), or it should sync within few minutes using checkpoints.

You have to give it time.  It uses a lot of resources when restoring from wallet backup.

I noticed PascalCoin does not yet have a forum, so I thought it would be fun to create one just like bitcoin has with bitcointalk forum.

So that interested people like me can discuss PascalCoin and it's technology behind it at a more deeper level.

The PascalCoin forum is brand new and you can have a looksy here and register and join and start discussing ! =D

http://www.skybuck.org/PascalCoin/Forum/

I have settled on a theme like this, quite like it, might improve it further in future ! Wink

Any news on the development stats of the CPU miner?

It's summertime and GPUs will not keep calm.

I have an old Xeon that is always idling.

Only 12 cores at 2.7 GHz.

Good for gaming.  That's about it.

My Internet expires in 7 days.

I'm going mobile.

Hey! The project looks good. I read the project whitepaper and I liked the idea. I hope that this ICO will be successful. Wish you good luck for the project and Developers.

It is good that this coin has supporters in the community. And probably pleased to see these reviews of the project. And what goals you have for the project and how you buy coins?
This is a simple human curiosity, but in general is now probably very difficult to determine in a large number of coins.

Simple humans would go to the official website where all the resources are nicely laid out.

You mine them with few 1080tis.

Never put more into a coin than you can afford to lose.

Circulating supply of PASC is close to 20 million.  I'm human, last time I checked it was...

Hint:  www.pascalcoin.org

I can buy them, but I have no FIAT/crypto.

You send me any crypto and I can buy them.

Not a morbid joke.

There was no ICO... ICO = smells like 'scam' normally, because it is.

Dear PascalCoin users,

New PascalCoin Build 2.1.9

Available source code at Github (Release 2.1.9), also available compiled binaries at Sourceforge (Windows installer / Linux binaries)

Windows installer/Binaries at Sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalcoin/files
Release at Github: https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin/releases/tag/2.1.9

### Build 2.1.9 - 2018-04-16
- Searchs last valid block found on corrupted BlockChainStream.blocks file and allows to continue from last valid one. On prior versions, app halted and needed manually file deletion
- Solved bug that can cause to corrupt BlockChainStream.blocks file when detecting an orphan block and creating new BlockHeaders row (every 1000 blocks). Very rare bug, but fatal error

- NOTE: It's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to upgrade to this version

Go go go $PASC !!!

Thanks Albert.

I had to download the blockchain file from SF (cut it's and older version 177xxx instead of 196...)

Github is having some kind of network errors for the past 24 hours (I thought it was my computers).

(I forgot to try "git clone")...

Tried wget, Firefox, Chromium...  could not download the .zip file.

I wrote my key on paper in pen.  Will test.

Cheers.
