Per aspera ad astra
Volk already explained that the input differs, so in short, you can't mine Pascals with ASICs.

New BUILD 1.0.7 designed for GPU miners developers

Hi everybody.

A few days ago a user started GPU mining.
To help everybody to use this technology I've developed a special BUILD with a JSON-RPC included specially for GPU miners.

If you're a developer, you can download this build (also source code available at Github) and follow instructions included in file "HOWTO_DEVELOP_GPU_MINER_FOR_PASCALCOIN.txt"

Remember: Source code available at https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin

Build 1.0.7 available at SourceForge (Windows only): https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalcoin

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes If you're a GPU dev, or knows somebody that can dev a GPU miner, send this information to him!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

NOTE: This version is not a GPU miner, dev is not expert in this area, it's just a special version to help GPU devs to create efficient miners for PascalCoin

Build 1.0.7.0 - 2016-10-10
--------------------------
- Introducing basic JSON-RPC to allow GPU miners development (Third party).
- See file "HOWTO_DEVELOP_GPU_MINER_FOR_PASCALCOIN.txt"
- No more CPU mining due exists GPU mining

does pascal use the same algorithm as bitcoin sha256 .... if so does the implementation of bitcoin asic miners is possible ?

Did Pascal has a ICO?

No ICO, no IPO, no PREMINE...

All new developed software, with new language: Pascal
And... most important: a new concept of cryptocurrency, working like a bank.
See opening post and read White Paper.

Ok. It have comparisons with ZCash?

This is all a bit confusing to me and I must be doing something wrong.  I extracted the Cuda Pascal Zip into a folder within the original Pascal Coin folder.  Not sure if that was correct and what files I'm supposed to open next.  I have 1 PascalCoinWallet.exe in the Cuda Pascal Folder and 1 PascalCoinWallet.exe in the Pascal Coin folder.  Which one of these is the 1 to open?   If it's the 1 in the Cuda Pascal Folder, it's giving me this error:

Exception EArgumentOutofRangeException in module rtl240.bpl at 0076A52
Argument out of Range

I did open PascalCoinCuda-sm30.exe and that seems to be working.

So what did I do wrong?

Thanks for the help!!
