Awesome.  Multi-core mining seems to be working.

how can we run on multiple cores?  What should we be doing to help test?
New version (Build 1.0.2) runs on multiple cores.

Working!  Testing it out now.

Brilliant!
CPU only + No bot mining + safe box for this coin!
I can see a great future here.

Thanks!  Grin

New version of Wallet/Miner/Explorer available at SourceForge (BUILD 1.0.2):

DOWNLOAD: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalcoin/

Build 1.0.2.0
--------------------------
- Improved hashing speed
- Allow mining without opening external ports
- Choose how many CPU's want to mine
- Show real-time pending operations waiting to be included in the block
- More stable
- Some miner modifications

For now... only CPU mining and only Windows users... still working in it!

Sounds similar to the mini-blockchain implementation pioneered by Cryptonite: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annxcn-cryptonite-1st-mini-blockchain-coin-m7-pow-no-premine-713538

The "safe box" could be compared to the mini-blockchain radix-tree-based balance sheet, where the hash of the safe box is embedded into blocks, so that a user's copy of the safe box can be validated against the blockchain.

If it doesn't need historical operations then why does it need a blockchain? What makes it different to other coins? Does it have a blockchain pruning mechanism to keep the blockchain small, or some special features besides being written in a different language to other coins?

As far as why it needs a blockchain, I would assume the blockchain acts as a means of maintaining consensus on the contents of the "safe box" although it isn't referenced directly for transaction history/data/validity.

You're right. Blockchain is used to maintain an integrity on the Safe Box, generating a "Safe Box Hash" as explained on the White Paper.

 Cool

your kidding right?     o wait your account status explains the  newbie words you just said....

this coin will be lucky to even HIT an exchange w/o alot more work. i dont have the time to explain, but good luck getting even yobit to list (tho their whores, they will do anything for money)

First of all I have a life, and this is not in front of my PC, so you can catch your dream be a "Legentary" or whatever you want, i'm  not gonna antagonize you ...
Secondarily, i said nothing about exchanges, it's your concern, not mine.

I have what I need, i don't have expectations to become rich from this....
I just like the *non* copy-paste work here...

Any other way ?
I do not have access to my router ?

nope ;/    this coin can't be mined by 75% of people for that reason.  sux too, looks awesome Sad

This was made to prevent alone mining in early blockchain, in future versions and with a stable group of servers nodes there will be possible to mine without open your port... but for now... help mining opening your port.

thats cool i can dig that, it seems your doing something not done b4, so it will take adjustments, naturally Smiley

the forums just tend to hate on "unfair mining" coins Tongue
