have you tried running the wallets in 'compatability mode' on windows......for the older version of windows you are using ??
Honestly (I assume you are on windows) I don't have a 32 bit system so my static builds that i have released were all tested on 64 bit systems.
It 'should' work on 32 bit however if I broke it I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. I will make a new build when I have time (which will require dll files) for you to try on your windows system to see if it works ok. By compiling a static wallet with qt it always possible to break something.
If anyone else has any problems/ bugs/ crashes or issues with the wallet for Photon or any of the coins in the blake 256 family please let me know.
All feedback /results ect is welcome since just because I test something and it works for me does not mean it will work on every computer in the world.
Also do you have any problems running other coin clients on that machine like bitcoin, other alt coins ?
If possible please post details on the error if available and if anything strange shows up in the debug log (located in same folder as your wallet)
Thanks.
Does the wallet work on a 32bit operating system? or is it for 54Bit? I run a 32bit operating system and everytime i start the wallet, it shows an error message and i have to press close.
Thanks
Hey,
Yeah it says "photon-Qt (OSS GUI client for Bitcoin) has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconveniences"
It should be cause im running a 32bit os (windows xp) but i have a ton of other wallets, and they work alright,
but yeah its mostly just a request, cause i'v tried other various 64bit wallets and also most of the gui miners are 64bit only, and they all show the similar error message or fail to run.
Right now my coins are on atomic-trade (recently started buying it) so im okay, but definitely when you have a chance if you can compile a 32 bit wallet that'll be great
Thanks
