I was thinking logo, since most of the feedback I have had liked the splash screen more than the logo/icon but I am honestly not the best at design of logos ect.... I personlly liked the classic logo I picked but others feel differently. One person suggested I swap the spash screen and logo Tongue

Since this is a long terrm project and I am one to move fast with matters of security /coding ect... I move a little slower on the design choices /marketing /appeal of the coin. I should probably reverse my strategy based on how I see other things run but I probably wont.

Still thanks for your vote to maintain Photon as it is, no one else may even be paying attention (right now......)

Development continues. Discussions have been held about bringing the blake 256 family up to the 9.3 codebase ... This is a work in progress with no date of completion.

I am working to get photon up to par with the latest release of Blake Coin and B+ then I will also have a go at electron and lithium. Upgrades are to latest build of level db for faster , tighter and more secure performance and a few cosmetics.

I am considering a new logo for Photon.

Please post thoughts or suggested logo's here ............ if I use it I cannot promise you will get paid and would need to be license free/open source image.

If someone posts a logo that the community likes I will ask the 'designer' of the logo to push it to github with their statement /license that it is in line with the rest of the project..... I will merge it.

If you are a great logo designer and don't know how to contribute to a project on github i can walk you through it in half a paragraph of a personal mesg.

Curious to see if there is any interest......

I think the problem is that I was using the old client without realizing it. I thought I replaced it by unzipping the new client into the same folder, but peazip just left the old files there without any notification (trying to deflect blame for silly mistake Roll Eyes

).

if just looking to use the wallet it sounds like you downloaded the correct wallet, thanks for bringing the numbers to my attention, i will put it on a list of minor changes to fix next time i release an updated wallet.

no conf file is necessary

it should synchronize with the network

check your firewall and router

sorry you have trouble,

and i must admit the photon website has not been updated since the day i launched the coin,

i should probably fix that,

do not use a binary from there or it will only get so far before merged mining started

Because I do believe that there will be video games that will be popular and will use BLC merged coins. This will either make me some money or allow me to get game stuff without paying 'real' money.

Either way I think it's worth it. If you don't as had been said time for you to move on.

Hey gave it a shot, but it only allows compatabilty mode for older operating systems e.g. i can run the photon wallet in windows 2000/windows nt/98/me/95,

I tried all the options but none of them worked (still getting error) and also there were no options for choosing it to run in 64bit mode.

It should be cause im running a 32bit os (windows xp)

but i have a ton of other wallets, and they work alright,

but yeah its mostly just a request, cause i'v tried other various 64bit wallets and also most of the gui miners are 64bit only, and they all show the similar error message or fail to run.

Right now my coins are on atomic-trade (recently started buying it) so im okay, but definitely when you have a chance if you can compile a 32 bit wallet that'll be great
